It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I have used the red truth.. donate away. Just make sure you write a letter to the charity so that we want them to accept Bitcoin.

given the value of bitcoin I don't see how this works. (I am a noob and just started mining) So you're telling me that I can make a profit by donating to charity then selling the bitcoins and using the money to donate more........?
