Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Because of your thread I just checked my Coinographic coin and it was loaded until 2016-05-24. They emptied the coin a week ago, which means that they kept the private keys. I'm not surprised though.

I bought this coin from ErikVanBreen on 09-07-2015 (dd-mm-yyyy) at which point it was already known that Coinographic turned into a scam. The coin was loaded at that point in time, so yes, I did pay for a funded coin. It seems that the guy behind Coinographic desperately needs money, why else would he steal something as little as 1LTC.

Wow what a bummer to hear this, I have 1 remaining at home and will check it aswell as soon as I get back from work.

It is propably emptied aswell then, my apologies for selling you a scammer's coin I also did not think he would be as pathetic to steal 1 LTC from customers Wink

He probably swept all the LTC keys at once, so it wasn't about 1 LTC for him.
But still, what an asshole. :/

I have a couple of funded Lealanas, but I'm sure smoothie wouldn't do something like this. Smiley

Confirmed. Coinographic emptied at least 21 coins: http://ltc.blockr.io/tx/info/5e05007cb26ae85ef6091868b2a0d4625224c2899f387015433b0ade3620aa42.

21 * 4,72 = 99.12$ at the current market price, which is not a lot.

I'm not sure what's worse. Having a coin that has never been funded or having a coin that was funded and later emptied again.

Anyway, sorry for all these off-topic posts and good luck with your sales! 0.1BTC is a good price for a Coinographic coin IMO.

There is a whole thread about it over at litecointalk.
People with 25 LTC coins should really redeem them now if they have not already done it.

Cryptography is one of the few things you can truly trust.

Sorry to hear that. I was scammed too but only for 1 LTC. I assume his (Mark "Scamographic") pub in Thornbury doesn't make enough money on its own.  Grin Grin Grin
@Bitcoinarchitecture
You can probably raise price for this coin a bit, as your coin can't be unloaded and is somehow scam proof.  Grin

I apologize in advance for the thread crap, but...  All of his coins are unfunded now.

Dang, this guy (Mark/Coinographic) scammed me not once when I pre-ordered the gold and silver coins and didn't receive all of my coins.  But scammed me again by removing my Litecoins on my coins.  What an DOUBLE LOW DOWN ASSHOLE!  25LTC, 10 LTC and (2) 1 LTC coins gone on 5/24.
