What are you paying ?
Royalties are paid at the rate enforced by the licensing companies per "performance", which is one play of a song. If you are registered with one of the big licensing companies, royalties will come through them. We are looking for unsigned and up-and-coming artists willing to give us streaming rights to their music or remixes, in order to give them free exposure. Many artists already do this via SoundCloud and other services for free, so we would just be one more outlet for exposure. We will also incorporate "Buy on Amazon" or "Buy on iTunes" links to the tracks as they stream, to give listeners easy access to purchase music as well.
For DJs, we will have a fund set aside to pay per mix, but they have to exclusive mixes for RaveCoin Radio. We will be commercial free, so we will not be making any income from the radio itself, it will be supported by the fund and by the community donations.
