Well i mean the price would most probably rocket to the sky so in my opinion i would start buying as much bitcoins as possible when i would see that the price is going up really quickly

besides that i would tell about it to all my relatives in order for them to become rich too, and what would you do if that suddenly would start happening?

Exactly what is the point of this thread and exactly what do you think is the value in such a discussion? You are most likely going to end up with random 1-2 liners ("I'll do X"; "I'll do Y" type of answers) from spammers. After reading those sentences it is easy to realize that your reasoning behind your own involvement in Bitcoin is false (e.g. greed: getting rich). Bitcoin replacing all of the currencies in the near future, is not only improbable, it is a joke. People here have gone way beyond reality and are swarming with optimism (e.g. the upcoming halving). This is going to have some deep negative after-effects.

besides that i would tell about it to all my relatives in order for them to become rich too, and what would you do if that suddenly would start happening?
This doesn't work that way. Exactly where do you think that this money comes from? Someone has to lose money in order for you to profit. Additionally, in the case where there is a singular currency (Bitcoin) you would not be able to measure the value as you do today (e.g. no price in USD). Anyhow, if there was a decent chance for the traditional currencies to be replaced soon, it would most likely not be done solely by Bitcoin, but a few cryptocurrencies that would be at the top.

Don't you see a logical problem here? If Bitcoin replaces all the world currencies, Bitcoin will no longer be exchangeable for another currency, hence the "price" is unlikely to skyrocket. What might be skyrocketing is its purchasing power. Stop using fiat as a reference for value, since it's a very bad benchmark.

In case that happens - and I seriously doubt it will happen in my lifetime - I will simply live on and use my Bitcoin to buy the things I need. What else am I supposed to do? Jumping out of the window, screaming "Bitcoin won!"? No I won't do that. Nope. Cheesy

I am collecting whatever i can this year before halving to get atleast 2x by the end of this year. I am not keeping bitcoin for long term but 1 year is still a long term. Replacing all world currency is far from reality.

I think bitcoin will not replace the currencies of the world within the next decade. Because we know bitcoin currency is still rarely used by people's,and I think bitcoin can still scam. So be warned if bitcoin prices shot up quickly without any news affecting. thank you

I am sure that bitcoin is not going to replace any of the world currencies. It doesn't have the power to do it because it is not regulated by a central agency.

Bitcoin by nature is decentralized and no nation would allow any decentralized currency to become its national currency.

I don't even think about it.

I can not think of anything. I do not think that will ever happen. It is way too far to think that bitcoin will replace all currencies in the world in just a year from now. Huh

We are here to give you all the latest from the Cryptocurrency space!

Well if bitcoin really replaced all the world's currencies in the future, That means all countries use same currencies, I will use it to buy my daily needs and I will also use it to travel the world and explore the places I want to go to using bitcoin.

you gotta stop thinking about ifs and also stop thinking about getting rich quickly by just holding bitcoin. start seeing how good bitcoin is in comparison to fiat and use it more as a currency.

this way of thinking is the main reason why the market can change this much (volatility) people are hoping to get rich so they start buying, the a wave of FUD hits the media so they all panic and start selling then it is reversed so they panic again and start buying.

in the end these people are only losing money because of the way they think.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

The world population (the total number of living humans on Earth) was 7.349 billion as of July 1, 2015. Source : http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/ - Now think about that for a while, and let it sink in. Do you think Bitcoin will scale to handle such a load?

The world is also too diverse and people are sentimental when it comes to currencies. <money> We will never see 1 world currency, and Bitcoin will never be that currency, even if it happens.

The world is also too diverse and people are sentimental when it comes to currencies. <money> We will never see 1 world currency, and Bitcoin will never be that currency, even if it happens.

It would be quite easy, instead of bitcoin, people would use satoshis for their daily purchases. A whole bitcoin would suddenly be like a million dollar bank note. Not used for daily life, but nice to have.

As far as replacing all world currencies.. not going to happen. There are hundreds of currencies for a reason, that is because governments want control over their currency. They are not going to give it to Chinese miners.

Finally, if it were to happen, fiat wouldn't be worth shit, so you would only think in bitcoins from that point on.

It's pretty hard to even imagine bitcoin replacing all the world currencies after only one year. It would have to be some weird magical circumstance. But ok, I'll bite. If it did happen, then I would have to re-evaluate whatever bitcoin hodlings I had and figure out some kind of spending, savings, investment budget based on bitcoin being the world currency.

If bitcoin replaces all currency , where you want to exchange?
Not many merchant accepts bitcoin . Where do you want to spend it?
Bitcoin is digital thing , can't replace any physical stuff like cash.  Grin Grin IMO

So your plan is to start buying when the price goes up really quickly?  And people wonder why there are bubbles!
It is more likely that the price will rise quickly, you will buy, then the price will fall and you will with you Bitcoins shouting about hodling!

Back to your idea: it would be a nightmare, bitcoin isn't made to be a world currency, it is too slow and limited. Security would be very difficult when 50mBTC is worth a lot of money, viruses and trojans etc would be everywhere trying to get into online wallets.

You are talking about having a, let's say, adequate amount of money where you would be able to buy the 'stuff that you like' and not have to work anymore? That can be a variating sum depends on wishes and your region. As far as the thread is concerned, I've warned you what was going to happen:
You are most likely going to end up with random 1-2 2-3 liners ("I'll do X"; "I'll do Y" type of answers) from spammers.
The longer this thread stays alive the worse it is going to get.

Bitcoin is digital thing , can't replace any physical stuff like cash.  Grin Grin IMO
So e-mails are a digital and they could not possibly replace physical stuff like post, right? But they did. You're trying to make a very ridiculous, and closed-minded, point.
