I have a couple of bitcoins in my Ripple wallet.

How can I send bitcoins from Ripple.com to my bitcoin wallet? All I can see on Ripple.com is a field for ripple addresses.

Is it even possible or does Ripple just handle XRP's and IOU's?

The way to get BTC in Ripple to your wallet is to get an account with a 'gateway'. So if you have a bitstamp account, go to the Deposit page and choose the Ripple option.

That will give you a Ripple address to send your Ripple BTC to which should then appear as 'real' BTC in your bitstamp account.
