although both your resource and your reasoning are wrong but you are making a correct point. and it has always been like this. when the price starts moving up everybody who were not thinking about the future starts to panic and feel like missing out so they start buying.

Don't look at Yobit as it adds no value at all to the price. Put your focus on exchanges as Bitfinex which happen to be a major exchange.

I don't think that's entirely true.  I would think arbitrage keeps bitcoin at least fairly consistent across the exchanges.  No?  I do recall when Mt. Gox's price was so much higher than the others, but that was an exception because they were failing.  Not so with Yobit.

i dont think everybody is buying coins right now because the price of just one bitcoin is that big why would you buy one now. A little time ago he was around the 400 or lower that was the best time.

At the moment not everybody is buying because the price at the moment is pretty high and not everybody can afford a price that high.
So if you cannot afford a price that high you should just wait for the price to drop again.

I am really hard in buy high , sell low between doge and btc. I also notice a drop of doge against btc which probably tell that people are now really in a buying btc mode. However, I still hold on to my doge sell open order price of 0.00000044 BTC per doge. I don't haste in selling my doge to 0.00000042 BTC even the near of halving - I just stick to my game plan if ever I get lucky, the doge price will increase 0.00000044 BTC in few hours or days before the halving, I will definitely profit a lot

I am buying too but little by little. Everybody things mass dumping begins with the halving, but I think the whales got a whole other play.

As with all markets, the price always increases to the higher levels before something (in this case the block halving) happens. In this case the halving was priced in last month and is now trying to find a price level to settle at for now.

If there is no seller, there will be no buyer. but the price of bitcoin has risen a lot since this time last year.

it's normal that the volumes are much lower than last months. the hype and speculation around the block halving is done and over. right now people need to find themselves another happening to focus on. that's why i expect the lower volumes to at least stay till the end of this month. china however has still insanely high trading volumes. especially okcoin with 836k btc in the last 24 hours.

The price rose too much between May and June. So it is better for the price to have a rest at the current levels.

The price rose because there was more buy demand than supply. Right now we are seeing it balance out for the most part with a small rise today. Overall the price has been very steady since the halving.

If the price in fact happens to show a good price increase in the coming months, or even next year, then it has nothing to do with the block halving. It will be a normal upwards price movement. Just forget about the block halving for now. It's history.

i also agree with you halving is just a perception from now on because it is not the real reason why price is keep jumping up it is really the demands and those players who keeps on using it and trading the coin. hoping it will grow more,.
