Speculating is a widespread hobby in China. We can see this quite well based on the past years. First, the Chinese invested heavily in real estate. When the market slowed, the speculators turned to the Chinese stock market. As it slowly collapsed last year, most speculators got into the natural resources sector and caused rising prices. It is only a matter of time before the Chinese speculating in a big way with Bitcoin and crypto currencies. What do you expect in this case, when suddenly hundreds of thousands more people are speculating with crypto coins with high leverage?

Chineses are using Bitcoin to move funds out of China, probably this is main reason. We will see heavy buying in yuan and then dump in usd.

It can only be short term in nature and they will move to other assets.
At which point, Bitcoin will crash and crash hard.
I don't see how that can be good for Bitcoin.

If the Chinese are really wanting to get their yuan out of the country, then they will start buying in Bitcoin and this will basically raise the price because the Chinese will create a bigger demand for coins. However when they decide to get rid of Bitcoin and get back into fiat they will effectively crash the Bitcoin market by creating a bigger supply than the actual demand requires. Such extreme conditions are not good for the Bitcoin economy in my opinion and we must be careful because we can easily be caught in the bubble and lose a lot of money when it finally bursts.

I'm guessing that when all of them join, they will use BitCoin, therefore making value increase. Good for everybody.

The same as it always has been. The Chinese will buy, and when the price goes down, they'll sell.

i thought Chinese were already inside bitcoin! they have always been investing with a lot of money in crypto currencies. do you remember last year and what they did with litecoin around LTC halving?
and do i even need to mention the mining farms in China?

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

We should pray for the chinese people to start speculating seriously. Grin

Unless the chinese communist government finds a way to ban all the cryptocurrency trade in China.

This is the worst scenario...

This is true, I heard from someone else, this is Chinese investment style. Basiccaly create more volatile market.

Speculators (especially Chinese ones) don't buy and hold.
They just keep shifting money into different asset classes in the hope of higher returns.

Chinese are many in number, and if they enter bitcoin definitely they will pump the price more than x2. I have no information about them but now it's a good time to invest in bitcoin because of the price increased the last few days which is around +$130.

Buy more Bitcoin!
And in addition to that maybe get some small amounts of one or the other altcoin from the top 10 as well.
Possible that a few alts will follow behind Bitcoin's huge back.
When the big guys enter the market everything is possible!!

Chinese people are using bitcoin from quite a long time now. If we see more Chinese people entering in to the market, initially you will see the market cap increase.

The will initially buy heavily and then dump to get the profit out of it. Bitcoin market has its own dynamics and sudden increase in investment will increase its price as well.
