HI,

I am also pretty new to Bit Coins.

Faucets are fractons of Bitcoins you earn visiting a Website.

The fastest, easiest, most convenient, and most effective way to "earn" bitcoins is to buy them.

Faucets and signature campaigns are a poor way to "earn" money. For most people, a low-paying job is better than faucets and signature campaigns. Begging on the street is probably more profitable.

Join an anti-signature campaign: Click ignore on the members of signature campaigns.

Here you will find many faucets: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=212.0

If you want to join a signature campaign you must wait until reach to a highest account rank. Good campaigns requires better account ranks. You can make some money with campaigns, look on this link to know more about them: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

Faucets are a great way to start, but earn very little. If you are interested in earning more by completing tasks and/or surveys, take a look at: http://www.bitcoinget.com.

Here's a great thread summarising the most common ways too earn bitcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1244332.0
TBH I'd just recommend buying your bitcoins, as most of these methods are not worth the time or are way too risky Smiley

You can try trading collectibles and physical bitcoins, there is quite an active marketplace section here if you can carve out a niche. Alternatively you could set up a website and earn money from bitcoin-paying advertisements. There are a lot of possibilities out there, you have to test them all to find the best for you.

For the faucets thing, you can go to micro earnings section. There are many faucets discussion on that section and for signature campaign, you only need to posting to get paid, and the rates depend of your rank account.

the difference with generating them is the fact that by generating them you can have more coin without risking trading, or waiting that bitcoin skyrocket first

from the time you reach roi, you are making big profit with the right equipment, and the right electricity, not to mention that your equipment always retain its value

not talking about asic here of course

Realize it's not a "get rich quick scheme".  It is a high risk/high reward investment.   We are very very early in digital currency so everything is pretty new still.  Do I think bitcoin will go up?  Yes long term I believe this very much.    BUT I would say not to put more investment then you are able to lose to be safe.

Right now it's all speculation.  With having most think it will go up, which it really has over past month or so.  How high will it go and how fast? That is a guess or speculation.   It could drop just as fast as it rises (I don't think it will but it could).

So if you have the money and don't mind buying and holding... yes I think it is a good investment for most.

the safest investment at this time, maybe if you buy a bitcoin, it is better to hold and wait while halving occurs, it could increase to $600, and now the price is still $580

Right now bitcoin is kinda surging so I kinda am weary of moving to much BTC to altcoins.  I think there is a possibility to miss the having surge if you have in other coins.  And to be honest a lot of altcoins are pump/dump and end up at a loss in the end.   Personally watching BTC over past month... I want to keep most there just a lot of stability.

Only altcoin I find intersting is Ether as it allows people to mine currently even with high electricity price.  It is the only profitable altcoin to mine in many cases.  If it gets more adoption could equal big returns.  But it again is riskier then just leaving it in bitcoin I think.  So worth looking into and maybe investing some (or possibly mine some I personally love mining it's what keeps me coming back to this site).

I honestly would not waste time with faucets and micro earnings as most of it will end up being dust and getting you very little compared to time spent.  I personally would pick up a skill with the time you can sell or use twords a job and buy cons with your "day job".  I know I picked up a book to learn recently and chances are I will gain more reading it then I would spending the hours on micro earnings.

You can earn bitcoins solving captchas on faucets. It's not very profitable but can help you to start.

As a new bitcoin enthusiast it can be good for you.

You can earn in many ways here faucet for me is waste of time better to try to join in twitter campaign and facebook campaign in services section you can also find many small task in services section also you can also try bounty in altcoin section that you can earn altcoin and sell it to bitcoins.. this is the best part if your coin you support after release the price will boom you are lucky that you can make sometimes 1-5 btc depends how much you holding..

Faucets are not a good way to make money.  You're better off waiting for new altcoins to launch and helping promote them for bounties/rewards.
