My day was quite busy, doing errands, chores, and everything else in between. Nothing special, it's just a typical day for me.

So much FUD to serve and so little time Sad
I think i'm ready to start outsourcing..
I need to farm it out, maybe to an Indian Call Center crew or something.

I'd have them say it all nice like though (sort of like below)

Quote
Hello my friend, your ICO coin is a scam..
Would you say my call was helpful today ?
..
Thank you for calling Spoetnik's FUD good day Smiley

Today amongst other things I've been carving out a wax pattern for an honda gcv 135. It will be an inlet manifold which will turn the carb 90 degrees to allow it to be run on its side. I intend to build an rc car with it Wink.

Well.. in all seriousness

I installed my rebuilt Mountain Bike wheel i had been working on for days.

I found one on the road basically that was super mega dirty but i could tell
it was an excellent replacement for my existing one.. i just had to clean it up and tune it etc.

I like supporting the environment and recycling etc and saving stuff from the landfills.
My mountain bike was thrown away by my old landlord who put it by their garbage in the drive way.
I asked them if they were chucking it and can i have it.. they said yes and i cleaned it up.

But my rear wheel was getting a bit ratty / worn out.
I had an issue with the hub bearings always getting too tight or way too loose.

So the new dirty wheel i could tell would not have this problem.
When i picked it up my hands got black from grime and the wheel did not even turn it was so dirty !
Now ?
It's installed and 99% brand new.
I have a huge pile of tools and cleaners etc.
I used Brasso Metal Cleaner, Degreaser and even CLR rust removal and then the proper Lubes.
Thick packing grease for the inner cageless bearings and standard motor oil for the fly wheel.
I also tuned out a massive warp in the rim by adjusting the spokes tension.

So yeah that is what i did today.. assembly and last minute touch up cleaning.
Summer is here and i am big on riding my Bike around town.
And i have gotten a LOT of compliments on my bike too.. it looks really nice !
If i showed you all a picture of it you wouldn't believe the guy threw it in the garbage.

I am all about completing tasks..
It's easy to just do nothing so i try and set some minimum daily goals.
Then if you at least do a little daily you are making progress..
And then feel some sense of accomplishment because you are working on things in your life.
Don't bite off more than you can chew then build on the good feeling after effect you get when your tasks are done.
For example..
Sometimes i feel like i don't want to go out and ride the bike..
But i know once i get out & get going it will be way better than i thought & enjoyable etc.
So get motivated but not TOO motivated LOL
A little bit of work daily adds up in time to large accomplishments.

I like that kinda attitude, my welder is made from three old microwave transformers re wound for low voltage high current. Works quite well and cost nothing at all!

@JarvsMetalCasting
Right on that sounds pretty cool / interesting.
I am ok with a soldering iron and my voltage meter but not too much more.
So it sounds like you are far more skilled than i am with some of that stuff.
Re-purposing things is pretty cool and gives you a sense of satisfaction preventing more garbage.
And "projects" ..stuff for you to do on a daily basis maybe too.

I should show you all a picture of my bike.. it looks and works great but was a LOT of work.

I rotate through stuff over time to keep my spare time busy.. always a few tasks per day.

Such as the Bike work i do or occasionally i rip apart my PC and clean it really good.
Or do software based cleaning etc
Or hobbys like i have been learning Android APP cracking.
I also keep my home clean and make sure to get out for fresh air riding around town.

The key is not overloading yourself with too much but working at things bit by bit staying busy.

I have 2 room-mates and one of them pretty much never leaves his room.. sad really.
I suspect a drug problem to go with the obvious alcoholism issues.

Me ? i get my act together..
There is only one way to look.. FORWARD !

And one way to get there.. baby steps LOL

Look after yourself people.  Wink

My days are good. Working 8 hours with flexible hours, so if I start for example at 8.00 am I would finish at 16.00. However that is too early for me so for example today I started at 10.00 am, meaning I will finish at 18.00. After that I plan to just play Skyrim the rest of the evening. Yes, you heard me right, Skyrim. First time playing it through, too. Very addicting!
