most people say the price will be high after halving, but it doesn't mean that no possibility that the price will be down. so just wait and see what will happen.

Some miners won't be able to mine. So, I think the chance is 50-50 cos the price of btc is rise now and there's possibility for the price to fall or rise. Time will tell

How does it have any affect in the price that some miners need to quit?

Since the amount of bitcoin you have from catching a block halves, for some mining equipment the cost of the electricity will become higher than the reward. Very simple. Unless..the price doubles.

Oh, right. I thought he was saying that less miners would make price go down.
But I get it now, he was saying it only the other way around, high price would mean more miners.

after halving I think the market need a correction. the price will come a little down after correction another spell will goes up and the rate will again goes up

everyone know that halving is beneficial for bitcoin, if bitcoin remained in use, so the price will double up, and it will be non-sense if one say that the price will drop down, even he know that bitcoin will be in use.

I think the price will continue to increase!
We will probably see a little reduction for some time in the mining difficullty because there will be a a lot of miners stoping their old hardware. On the other hand, the new Antminer hardware will enter the scene.

What I can roughly assume is ,the service fees might increase a little bit.The prices of bitcoins will definitely sky rocket but that's other thing,however the network would be congested and hence there wouldn't be a lot of miners to solve all the transactions,the one's with the higher fees and high priorities with small tx size could be solved first.Maybe there would be a standardized way to calculate the transaction fees per bytes.You would never know actually.I'm hoping the bitcoin devs have something create in their minds.

Exactly, I hate how people automatically assume that it is going to skyrocket because of the thought that scarcity = price rises.  This might be the case at first since people have been assuming that for so long, but there will be a point in time where people will question whether they should be paying that much for a coin that has such a congested network that doesn't provide them any functionality other than being highly priced and is used for heavy speculation.

There is no doubt that the price will increase,however i don't believe it will reach insane heights(4000$ for example),my guess is that we will see a price around 1000$ which is not bad at all.

of course there is the possibility for prices to go down with the terms and conditions if demand bitcoin down and many people sell their bitcoin simultaneously while halving of course what happens is the price down if everyone does not want this to happen. you have to be calm during and after halving

There are alot of possibilities that may happen before and after july and the exact date of halving.Before halvinh bitcoins price may drop just like what happened last halving due to panic sellings of bitcoin of newbies.During halving thats the time of sudden and big increase on bitcoins price and after halving thats the time when bitcoins price is fully up.

the value will be doubled because the miners will decrease the bitcoins that they mine so the bitcoin price will increase better to hold your bitcoins before july and sell it.

The block will be devided into half, Probably the price of bitcoin will increase, Just like now bitcoin price is slowy increasing we are feeling it, bitcoin almost hit 600$ yesterday, It means in halving we will gain more profits from bitcoin

I just found out recently the term halving from bitcointalk, and according to information and existing thread after halving the price of bitcoin is rumored to be up and it is quite nice if you buy bitcoin far days before halving. thank you

The reward per block will halve, not the block.

If i knew what happened to BTC after halving.. i would either invest all my money on btc or sell them all...
But unfortunately you can't be sure about that.

I think it will happen when everyone sells their bitcoin? yeah it is possible to see many people have the intention of selling them when halving bitcoin, bitcoin after they hold them for so long. I hope people will be more confident in facing this high price

I think after the halving the bitcoin will rise to a higher amount for sure, a lot of people are also saying this and I also think there is a good chance that this will happen.
