Surprised there isn't much in the way of forum threads on the Backfeed.cc project...

This could be an interesting one to keep an eye on:

Part of it seems similar to The DAO. I read the whitepaper, I think what would help is a clear example how it can be used with a working model. I've been on the lookout for something reputation based.

it's not yet 100% clear yet all what suite of products/services will be offered, though seems the angle is an OS for DAOS - certain models and frameworks integratable and customizable for those seeking to get their own DAOs up and running...

I found it interesting that the way they've set up the Backfeed magazine actually has parts of their models implemented in itself, by establishing a token/rewards system for early content contributors, curators, and promoters. if you sign up for an account and take a tour after reading that attached article - its different than just reading the article itself, as they've built in the model into the site so you actually get a hands-on experience. the particular application might be rather limited at this point, giving tokens only for article submissions, commenting, and voting on content quality - though gives one example of how such collaborative economic models (with inbuilt reputation functions) could be implemented, that you can actually get your feet wet with...

Yeah, it's a little esoteric I think at this point. I'm a DAO token holder but I'm not exactly sold on this kind of a solution. I'm not of the opinion that personal trust should be automated :/
