Nothing much except that it will use Ethereum as its base platform. They haven't started their ICO yet, so maybe they will make a proposal to The DAO in order to get funded. I'm not really sure but that's how I see it. The DAO is holding enough capital to seed fund 20 - 30 projects. It could be more.

I dont believe there is any incentive for investors.  Seems like gnosis is all about gnosis. They just want your money all from themselves.

Thoughts?

The same can be said with Augur. They are only after the ICO funds, one can argue. There was a thread around here that states that Augur is a broken system and that the founders knew about this and yet continued and collected BTC thru their ICO. It was very technical but the evidence shown was very compelling.

Personally, I am waiting for Hivemind release.

oh no. i guess the ICOs that currently exist today are the first to scam users here in bitcointalk. someone created a thread asking about what happen to augur lately and i guess that guy has high hopes during the start.

Augur has failed to live up to hype. No real surprise there. Prediction markets are a great use case for blockchain technology, so I expect someone to build a real, useable, sensible model.

I hate to admit it, but I believe you are correct.

Augur has lost their momentum. The price keeps dropping and the buyers are thinning out.

at release it will be minimum 5 dollars because right now the price is about 4 dollars and there are always buyers at this price. Plus they have a very good team. https://www.facebook.com/augurproject/

Most of the team left.

I believe another predictions market will take the lead over Augur.

I hold augur and will wait it out but am very disappointed in their implementation so far.

All I see is the Augur team enjoying the touring scene.

Hey Augur, get your asses  back in your whatever you call an office and get this deal moving forward.

You don't need to be touring the world as if you are Rockstars.

You're joking, correct?

Marketing?

How about a finished product?

Can't market what you don't have. And they already have a marketing team... 11 million tokens worth.

These guys at augur are really showing their lack of real world experience.

Enjoy the show.

Thanks for the interest!

We have taken an opposite route, focusing on development rather than marketing. We are releasing our second beta software in the coming days: http://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-prediction-market-service-takes-first-steps-beta-launch/

We have a Bitcointalk thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1529098 and invite anyone to join our slack at slack.gnosis.pm

Augur is done. Tiny can't handle criticism, and can't deliver. Pitty for Joey, I think he had the best intentions but teamed up with a bunch of underachievers.

Imo building a project on eth is twice the risk. Eth doesn't seem to value decentralisation. And If eth fails, project build on eth fail. Just my 2 cents.

Augur can switch to Rootstock or Lisk without a problem Smiley You can ask Joey if you want.

They raised so much fund, and still nothing comes out for a year. What a shame.

Augur has failed to live up to hype.

Paul Brody failed to live up to the hype.  Was he fired from IBM for wasting the Big Cat's money on a laundry machine? IBM adept canned!
DAO failed to live up to the hype.

Seems like anything connected to Ethereum fails to live up to the hype.  Cheesy
