In my opinion, they are not suitable to compare. I think this two are the best ones of the cryptocurrency world, but they are really different from each other.

I think you should invest in both of them as both of the cryptocurrencies have enormous potential to grow. Bitcoin, without any doubt is the most popular crypto is the most stable crypto available in the market. That's not a very good comparision to make. It's unfair for any altcoin to be compared with bitcoin. Bitcoin will always be superior to any alt coin. Ethereum on the otherway is very precious. For me it's the best alt coin in very aspect. These are both good and safe investments if you are looking for steady and safe kind of investment.

Ethereum  is the improved version of btc in my opinion , but with a much smaller market cap and a very different behavior of miners toward this coin .
Ethereum is maybe the only coin that can challenge btc because it got lots of improvements in terms of blocks and code , hasn't been invested in as much as bitcoin which made it's price growth very slower .If i were to mine i'd definitely go for Ethereum because i'm certain that it's price will increase a lot in the few coming years since people will be preferring it's features on any other alt .

The good thing about Ethereum is that for the last time it was very stable. It seems like people are not expecting x2-4 ETH pump anymore and now it is clother to its real value based on the value of ICOs. BTC is still my choice but the fact that ico eth won't be so overpriced is definetely good.

Bitcoin is a better choice because Ethereum is mainly focusing on smart contracts while Bitcoin is doing real payments.

Ethereum offers smart contracts but it's not like it can't do 'real payments'. Thus, it is rather an advantage of it rather than disadvantage. A big problem with eth (even though I think it nevertheless is a step forward after bitcoin) is that it has problems with code's safety. Somehow most of bugs and money losses due to hacks occur with ethereum. This has to be changed, of course. Nevertheless, I think bitcoin will always be the choice #1. Not because it is better than eth but 'cause people tend to choose the most popular so far. There are much more opportunities with btc than eth and lots of people ignore all other coins.

I strongly disagree with you. Ethereum is not the better version of bitcoin. Ethereum is totally different than bitcoin and it has much better features compared to bitcoin's current old structure.

Please learn how to differentiate them from each other first.

Ethereum and bitcoin are completely different and offer different things, in terms of an investment I would always hold both as they are the two superpowers of cryptocurrencies, do not be surprised if this time next year we are talking of 20k+ BTC and 1k+ ETH.

Different prices, different risks, different technologies.
In my opinion you should be aware of what BTC and ETH are instead, BTC isn't working as ETH with smart contracts, and the way
they'r mined is totally  different. I'd rather to invest on ETH because is really new coin (no so expensive no make an investment)
and is working with these smart contracts which are doing really good besides of the incoming future.

You have already explained the advantages or disadvantages of both types of coin between bitcoin and ethereum. but if I may explain more about bitcoin and ethereum then I would say that until ethereum can not match the price of bitcoin far beyond ethereum and other types of coins, it would not have been possible because ethereum was just altcoin as well another type of coin while bitcoin is an icon where the first time the formation of a virtual currency type. so in my opinion ethereum will remain the second most popular coin and the first is still going to be held by bitcoin. and its value will continue to increase as many investors who want to invest in bitcoin.

It is impossible to defeat the ethereum BTC. There is a difference in number of coins of almost 8 times. Need it in 8 times more money to pump into ether to avoid bitcoin. I suppose, just like most of us you are looking for an investment opportunity and must be asking which coin has more potential over a short/medium or long term goal.

If you are chasing the last couple of weeks, $BTC the big daddy is over everyone, however, I would suggest to stay in both, cause if $ETH goes in $BTC value, you increase both your $BTC as well as FIAT values simultaneously..

What your problem?you can't compare btc with eth, eth is including alt coin. BTC is a mother of the coin can give a value to alt coin.

Comparing is not problem i think. Just opinion.
If btc is the mother of coin so what is btc? Is it not altcoin too? What is really meaning of altcoin amd btc?
If we compare btc and etherium, so we can know bitcoin is always superior. So maybe better compare etherium with other but not bitcoin.
