The idea behind this funny project is serious. There are only 10 groups of Web users - those who understand binary and those who do not Smiley . Taking this into account to make Bitcoin circulate wider in the second group some marketing must be applied.
Our idea is simple - as Bitcoin is technically only a pair of keys the name itself is not connected to it by any means. Thus, branding Bitcoin for different target groups seems to be a good idea.
Brands can be used in selling goods and services under own coin name that is still functionally Bitcoin. The only change is in graphic design of online wallet service or local client.
Ad hoc examples: casinos can use GambleCoin or BetCoin, date portals - LoveCoin (or BangCoin, it depends Smiley ), sex portals - SexCoins, game portals - GameCoins, art portals - ArtCoins...
What is the most important - client can pay in one place with LoveCoin then buy something for Bitcoins using the same wallet. Because only the name changes.
If you like our branding idea - use it. If you use our idea - hire us to make it. We accept Bitcoins. We are good in graphics and programming.

You can also just donate us - 1GCMUFfRyPxQqbmSy1QqaSdcKP5PcgQR2K

If you have photoshop why would you even bother with Gimp?
Simple reason - sometimes different soft offers some tools that are missing (or non-ergonomic, or harder to use) in the other. GIMP is easy to automate through Python, so we use it for example when converting large number of images to indexed color mode (in between writing a code to assess properly a peak number of colors) and saving as PNGs (yes, we know that it can be done with XnView or Bridge, actually every operation can be made in different ways. We prefer this one). It can be done in PS - but for us it's faster and easier in GIMP. The same applies when working with vectors - Inkscape sometimes gives better and easier control. Especially when outputting SVGs (however sometimes working with SVG is painful regardless the tool you use - so we wrote several own tools).
We are not tightly devoted to specific tools - our approach is focusing on a specific final effect.

Concerning our project: BITCOIN TARGETS NON-NERDS.

"How would that work?"- asked me one person and he continued:
"Hello customer, you can pay with lovecoins, but they are actually bitcoins so make sure you get some bitcoins at an exchange. We'll just call them lovecoins once you hand them to us.
If that is how it would work, it does not sound like a good idea to me".

I've answered:
In fact, it's a matter of presenting it to the client. How about this: Dear client, on our website you can use loveCoins that can be bought from us but they are acctually Bitcoins so if you dont spend them with us you can spend them anywhere else where accept Bitcoins .Its a typical trick which is very often used, for instance on game portals that are pushing customer to buy the internal curency from them.( here also you can earn on speculation ) Aditionally becouse those LoveCoins and Bitcoins are the same, you offer the client an optionall possibility to use Bitcoin that he bought from you, outside. .And this is the main idea of our project: to let Bitcoin flowing. This is the way to interest people who would probably never find Bitcoin idea interesting. We, artists ,want to support the idea of Bitcoin by creating artistic projects about it, but it depends on you whether you use it or not.
