Which wallet is the best?

Hey guys!
I'm not completely new, but I still have much to learn.
What is, in your opinion, the best wallet to use?
I currently use mycelium for android and greenaddress for my desktop.
What do you guys use and why is it better in your opinion?

IMO, mycelium is best. I am using it togeter with some web based wallets. I also have blockchain and a local exchange wallet but I do not trust them as much so I still stick up to mycelium wallet. So far everything I need in a wallet is available in mycelium.

i will suggest blockchain.info for an online wallet, for android mycelium wallet is best and for a heavy pc wallet there is bitcoin core wallet and for a light wallet i used electrum wallet or armory wallet but the safty is upto you that how safe can you keep your wallet from hackers

you can try them out to see which one you are more comfortable with, you can even install a virtual machine on your system using VirtualBox or a similar program to test them without changing anything in your main operating system. this is what i did to choose the one that i like and is easier for me to use

my suggestion is electrum.

I don't use blockchain or online i don't feel satisfied in that wallet because there's a possibility that online wallet can be hack easily if they get the data base of the site.. its better to use electrum for lite version bitcoin core also good but you need to download and sync the whole blocks..
I am using  online wallet only for daily use like coinbase because miners fee is free..

I think blockchain.info wallet is one of the best wallet to use online because there are many features to make your wallet secure.

Exactly as mentioned Blockchain.info is the best of all in terms of security and access. It has got the best user interface, so that even beginners feel easier to use.

Thank you for all the replys, guys, you are awesome. I think I will use core fot my desktop from now on; maybe even run a node. Is there a problem if I can only keep it up 16hours out of 24?

Coinbase and wallets like them are ok and good for beginners but i wouldn't say they are better than online wallets, at least with an online wallet like blockchain.info you hold the private keys and that's what bitcoin really is , giving control of your own money back to you only (no 3rd parties)

But just like any online wallet never keep your bitcoins online ever!

These wallets can be described as a mix between a bank account and an email address, but with so many out there it is definitely useful to do some research before choosing one.

Wondering:never front pocket back pocket only its comfortable at least it is for me and also you wont be a real man if you keep it in your front pocket. I have never had my wallet stolen either and none of my friends have either and they also say its comfortable.

No, don't ever suggest Coinbase as good wallet option. Using Coinbase to buy bitcoins, fair enough, you can do it. But don't use it as a wallet.
Coinbase is monitoring all your transactions and will ban you if they notice that you are using BTC to gamble, it is stated in their ToS...

If you read the last line of my post you would see that i strongly recommend never storing btc online, since Coinbase is an online wallet provider i thought it was self explanatory but maybe not as much as i thought.

I use Coinjar where i am and its the same deal, buy my coins and move them offline straight away.

Just about all the wallets providers like Coinbase ect monitor your transactions and will ban/lock your account for gambling. They are legally abliged to do this because of KYC and AML laws.

a couple of things to remember:
* choose your wallet here : http://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet based on the platform you are running the wallet or planing on doing.
* always download the wallet from the original website (links can be found in above website) other than that you may end up having a virus as your wallet.
* click on the wallets and read why some lines are green and some are not.
* basically web wallets are the least safe wallets and offline wallets are the most secure.

The transaction fees are a small price to pay so you have full control over your bitcoins.
You should not use those type of wallets for more than buying coins and sending the to an offline wallet that only you control the keys to.

for me cold paper wallet is the best, money cant be stolen from it and you dont need any other services
