any one borrows with a 10 old facebook account as collateral?

Hi, this is my first message and i want to know if some one can accept a facebook account with more than ten years and with more than 500 contacts as collateral.

I don't know if there's a lender that will accept facebook account as collateral, but most lenders won't because accounts can be recovered easily and thus are not considered as valid collateral. You can find the list of valid collateral on the second post of this sticky

Do Facebook accounts even have any value, i know you said it is 10 years old but do people actually trade Facebook accounts?

I don't ever use Facebook and never have but what would the advantages of having an old account?

Collateral is something to be used to ensure that the borrower will pay back the loan, and is something that the lender values (or knows the value) enough to be able to happily use it as compensation in the event of a defaulted loan. Typically, it's based on the price of the collateral and if the lender can sell it easily enough to get his money (or, preferably, 120% of his money) back.

Your reasons are really just about that first requirement of collateral, which is that it's valuable to you. Don't think of it as why you would return the loan, think of it through the lender's POV. It's completely and utterly useless to us, and I bet someone could buy a 10 year old Facebook account off the Internet for pretty cheap if they valued one that highly.

Face book accounts do not have any value to most people here.  There may be someone who has a use to hold such an account, but most people will not use this as collateral.

and any body here has the red flag in a big consideration.

i was checking some forums and you really have to do anything here with a big carefully because if you run to fast maybe you gain a red flag.
