My first was blockchain.info, now I prefer to use offline wallet (multibitHD) but I still use blockchain for some transactions because I can use it anytime anywhere with the android application.

First site where I created wallet first time was Blockchain.. but after some time I left blockhain because I lost some money from my wallet and people were saying that blockchain can be easily hacked. then I started to use xapo. but as xapo doesn't provide some necessary features like signing message, private keys, now I am again using blockchain and electrum.

i created my first wallet with our local bitcoin exchange it is only coins.ph which is available here in my country that I knew which trusted don't have any other info with bitcoin wallet and im still using it until now.

My first wallet was created on the blockchain because that was the one that was the most trusted and also the best in my opinion.

Blockchain was the first for many of us but i know a lot of people also use coinbase and xapo. In terms of volume coinbase is bigger, maybe even big as blockchain these days.

Blockchain.info was my first wallet back in 2014 , was also the first wallet to be hacked and I immediately after quit using it and started using Electrum since then until now without a single problem happening in this big amount of time, almost 2 years. Anyway I decided to give a try to this new wallet of blockchain and opened an account in my Linux PC, added all of the security measures and also now my email is hardened with 2FA so , so far so good. But I keep very very few amount of coins there as no matter the hardened security it still remains a wallet which you rely on a third party so I prefer more Electrum which I am in charge of my private keys and my bitcoins.

Very well said blockchain has less errors and if you like to trade a lot maybe say on secondstrade.com then blockchain is the best I used a different wallet called coinbase on the trading platform but nothing appeared on the transactions list so I had to delete that wallet and go back to blockchain. I think its because of the api its more friendly and better than coinbase.

I have started using bitcoin at blockchain too,my friend suggested me it a loong time ago,and i was satisfied with using it.
Actually i still do,but i will probably change it into offline wallet,because it is more safer than the online one,which i dont like while using blockchain.

Coinbase is a reputable company but like you I don't trust them with large amounts of bitcoin. I have to say i've never encountered problems with them, but they are typically a company which due some fault on their behave will lock your bitcons for weeks.

Another thing is that this wallet was great and is still great in my eyes.
