This is the sort of lunacy that results when people who know nothing about science try to report on it. The corona is a layer of the sun's atmosphere. The corona is not the sun itself. Any idiot with a dictionary should be able to figure that one out. Though to be fair, it's clear from declining editorial standards that nobody involved in news publication actually owns a dictionary (the Inquisitr article even somehow managed to misspell "corona" as "cornea").

People forget that stars are actually eradicate and we know little about them
other than guessing on some stuff.

Did you all know pretty much all of space science relates to a chick who found variable stars way back ?
If our target is in our solar system we can use parallax measurements..
But for the whole entire rest of the Universe we use what is called the Standard Candle theory.
Which was started by a chick 100+ years back who discovered via measurements the existence
or perception of "Variable" stars.. which gave rise to the concept of the Standard Candle theory.
..which all of science hinges on heavily.
And we know little about the variables stars.. for all we know ours is a rare type of one.
..with a slow variable period.
Which duh.. would make us fucked bad... extinction time LOL

And think about it not all our cycles happen in a quick time period..
Take procession for example.. that cycle of ours lasts 26,000 years.
Unlike the suns 11 year activity cycle.. which we are in the lowest activity period now.

Scientist have NEVER seen anything like this before.. EVER !
The black parts are usually around the size of a penny on the picture.
And they are known to be what causes flares / cme's

You all have it wrong. The stars are electric plasma, at least in the brilliant covering. The thing the sun is doing is, it is building up a humongous capacitance for the near future when it becomes 7 times hotter and brighter.

We really need to invent electric force fields that can turn the sun's electricity unto resistance. The stronger the plasma, the stronger the resistance. If we did this, we could go and visit the surface land of the sun - essentially all the radiance shines outward - the surface of the material is probably quite cool.

In fact, it just might be safer to live on the surface of the sun's land than it is on earth, with all the wars and such that we have here.

I can see where this might interest flat earthers more than just about anybody.

Our sun does actually vary just not as intensly as Variable Stars do.

I just found that out looking for the name of the observer they sent out a while back to monitor the SUN
Why ?
When they launched it i heard a science story that was super weird but true !
They had to put heaters on it even though it would be close to the sun.
The story went on to babble about the energetic particles being spread too far apart etc..
thus not creating the levels of heat we would all probably assume you'd get at where it was to be "parked"
That theory combined with the fact that space is about minus 455 degrees Fahrenheit
leads them to have to install heaters on orbiting devices close to the Sun.. WEIRD !

The hole did fire some shit at us but the effect it seems *so far* is minimal.

We will have the planet engulfed by the sun eventually one day.
So in reality we have 0 choice to stay on Earth or will be extinct.
But i have a hunch we will be long gone far before that ever happens.

We had always thought it was simply bullshit fairy tales.. NOPE !
Some guys went and mounted a campaign to find proof and they found it.
They found Tree-Ring data across the globe to back up the Myth.
It was now indisputable.. and they estimated the SUN was effectively gone for 1.5 years.
The key point i am making is.. WHEN !
500 years ago roughly.
..a far cry from the Millions of years they always tell us that these kinds of things happen LOL
And what happened ?
It slaughtered a massive percentage of Earth's population that is what !
Millions & Millions of people died !
And we are smart ?
How many of you 7 billion people knew that ?
5 people ? 6 people ? ROFL

The reality is if we find out a comet or meteor is coming there will be nothing we can do realistically.
Nor will we even have the time to do it..
The detection abilities we have are not able to give us much of a warning in advance.
I believe it is around 6 months to a maximum of a year at best !
And the scientists who do drills for this scenario made up of Earth top people
all say we would not even be able to come to a consensus on what to do.. who decides ?
The choices are limited and who pays for the Super nuke etc we have to build and send off in 6 months notice ?
And can it be built in 6 months ? *maybe* ..a BIG maybe !
They will tell you themselves we are virtually powerless and there is no FUNDING to work on it !
I seen a proposal for a system to *help* the issue by a past astronaut
and he was struggling to get any support financially for it at all..

Nobody batted an eye when i pointed out how they had a full page story on it.

I looked close to 2 days later and the entire story was removed !
A few more days later it was put back up in a new way.
In other words you are treated like children and spoon fed what "you should know"
You think they will run out to tell us we're gonna get smashed ?

Apophis was a record on the Torino scale and we found out about it after it whipped past us in 2004.
We had 0 warning ..NONE !
We had it added as the largest threat ever and set to come back in a few years and hit our Gravitational Keyhole and then on the next pass slam into us.
In the Meantime we have seen the mathematical estimates revised endlessly
to tell the public there is now almost no threat at all.

Sorry but i don't trust them.

Many things could happen with minutes warning such as getting smacked with a gamma ray burst.
Which HAS happened to us and we have proof.
There would not be time to warn the public nor is there a system in place to issue the warnings.
Imagine finding out a massive flare was coming from the Sun and only seeing it 8 minutes away.
There would be no time to contact TV stations etc..
