**Mods, pls DELETE--Consolidated listing at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=154157.msg1634128**

Selling this hard drive array I've been using for backups--nice and speedy with lots of backup/RAID options. Especially fast because it has hardware RAID.
No guarantees or warranties (although the Seagates might have a sliver of warranty left). Please contact if you're interested, and I can get more information on the drives.
Once you express interest, I will get around to backing up my data to a different array, and then once I'm ready (3-4 days), I'll let you know
Price: $450 (USD Gox Sell Rate) shipped to the lower 48. This array is REALLY heavy, but will be packaged securely.

Two drives are 2* Seagate 5900 RPM drives
One is another Seagate, but is a refurb I received as an RMA
the last is a Hitachi 2TB @ 7200 RPM--this has more wear than the other drives, but I've had a couple of High-capacity Hitachis and they were the only brand to not fail (1/3 Samsungs, 1/4 Seagates failed).
Also note that I replaced the stock 80mm fan with a higher-flowing Rosewill one. It has white LEDs that I forgot to clip when installing it. A tad noiser than stock, but I prefer the additional airflow.

Proof of 8TB here: http://imgur.com/YFg8ued (Device is the HW RAID device, and storage size is shown)

Perfect eBay feedback here, and I've been selling my stuff recently: http://myworld.ebay.com/grwangtiger
(also mentions this account by name, so you know I'm linked)

I would prefer to not escrow, mainly because I'm lazy and don't want to set up another account somewhere, and to keep my prices low. Whatever happened to just sending some BTCs over and receiving products at your door? Can escrow if you cover the additional fee.

(also selling a brand new Core i5 3570K here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=150788.msg1602353)

I posted my eBay feedback (and it's not hard to track me around the internet), and like I said, escrow is totally fine if you're willing to do the fee. I'm very active on motorcycle forums for a lot of purchases, it's typical for sellers to request buyer to pay PP fees (yadda yadda against PP policy). Other times, sellers won't even accept PP and instead I have to get my ass to the Post Office (+gas/time), cut out a Money Order (+fee), then wait for the seller to receive it via snail mail before processing my order. And these would be for racing parts in the hundreds of dollars. As if replying to massive posts on bitcoin gambling, blocksize limits, and ASIC release rumors would help a buyer know that I'll deliver the goods.

I guess the inherent nature of BTCs makes ppl skeptical/cautious, but like I said, I have great backing outside the BTC network (feedback for a $450 Sony Z dock should be coming to my eBay account soon). I took a massive leap of faith when I had to do my first bulk order of BTCs with a cash deposit at a bank to a service hosted on the Onion network for a purchase around $4-500, but it saved me the massive fees and hassle of BitInstant. I would hope that more transactions are personal peer-to-peer ones, as centralization has incurred some massive costs to the Bitcoin network, in terms that the only ones making money are the middlemen. Yes, they should get paid for their service (BitMit's fees seem quite reasonable), but it's tough to the average person to get into Bitcoins when they end up paying 10-15% in fees for an initial $100 foray into Bitcoins.

Welp, that's just my two bitcents.

(Personally, I'd rather spend time answering questions from buyers and spend time researching compatibility, condition details, etc. and have them know 100% what they're getting instead of dealing with a 3rd party. I guess I could just play the list on Craigslist and wait game. Took two weeks to get rid of a brand new, competitively priced Dyson, but that had no fees and lucky me, there are 8M people in my city searching for stuff.)
