[2016-6-13] OpenBazaar growing fast, with major upgrades on the horizon

Since its launch on April 5th, the first truly decentralized marketplace, OpenBazaar, has been growing steadily, both in popularity and in features.

Due to the peer-to-peer nature of the platform, it is difficult to quantify how popular it is, but there are various secondary indicators. The most apparent is how many users are following the @OpenBazaar account inside the program.

This is great to hear, I signed up back i April but have not listed much and then let it go due to some new projects.  I am very excited to replace my ebay seller account with Open Bazaar.  I am glad to see there is an android app (BazaarHound) now for browsing and shopping.  It would be great if they could roll out a way to list from the phone, but I understand that is not possible at this point due to it being run by all of our own computers.  Will keep my eye on this project and hope to build a store soon.

I still don't see any growth personally , since OpenBazaar opened , I made multiple threads about it and each time I was checking the stats , they was pretty much the same when It comes to the number of vendors and online shops.

I heard about it only yesterday on another website thread on this forum. Today I plan to see what is like, I need first to download the program and install it on my computer.

I think the website is not yet in the mainstream like Ebay, is always take some time.
