IK dont think the price of the bitcoin will crash allot because the halving does not mean the end of the bticoin it will only double the time of the miners so they can mine a little bit slower for know dont think will affect the price.

It's not wrong to believe but of course it's no mistake if you will minimize the loss.

If you are already on profits then the price will crash learn to get out.

Why not? The alternative is panic selling when it crashes, and panic buying when it goes up. I have long term confidence, and you can't predict the peak or bottom of a market.

Agreed. I would keep my bitcoins in different wallets, exchanges and hardware wallets this will ensure that
I will lose less bitcoins due to security breach on any of the wallet or exchange.

Since I do not have much Bitcoins now.
If the price drops after halving, I think I will just continue to use the Bitcoin.
But I think that after that, the price of Bitcoin will increase.

Yes it is possible for the price to drop down after halving because i also expect that many users will sell their coins because the price will be higher than now and if you ask i will just not continue to use but i will also take advantage of it and i will buy bitcoins as much as i can because we know that it's easy for bitcoin to back to normal price again because bitcoin has many users around the world.

Or miners can also pull out of the game and sell their assets, driving BTC's price down. They may pull out since they will mine less amount of BTC per block which, for obvious reasons, will likely reduce profits.

I would definitely keep holding, there might be a small possibility for an upcomming crash after halving, but in the long term the price would still go up.

yes that is a good decision i think . i will also hold the bitocin. but i think this down fall will be a termporary and the price will again boost up  very soon. i will not be a wise decision to sell the bitocin in panic when the market is about to crash. the wise decision is to stay and hold it for the price increase.

Yes,its very likely to happen so,but should never be overconfident,in the given case there was a fall in prices the best choice could  be hold at least until the price recovers again.

After reading similar threads, i think that the bitcoin price would go down a bit after halving, but it would recover soon and would eventually be more than today's in a month or so.
I am thinking of selling some of my bitcoins and then when price reduces, i would buy more btc's with that amount and then hope for a price increase (though i doubt if this would work or not).

Actually I have never thought about that..I am in the hope that the price will definitely increase after the halving..You should have noticed the recent pump..It shows that the halving rally might have already started..I dont think it will crash at this stage.I also think that it is only you who is thinking about the crash.

you are thinking is from the investor point of view but you cannot see the traders point of view, when they have bought in low then obviously they will try to cash out profit so that time we can see some selling pressure.

My view is after halving their will be correction but not crash in price of bitcoin as everyone is waiting to sell their coin on high price after halving when everyone will come out to sell then who are going to buy that selling rate, this no one notices it, This is what OP is trying to tell.

I have set point of selling my bitcoins from $800+ price slowly slowly so if their is crash i can buy back in low and would have taken profit.

after the halving there are allot of people scared for a price take down but dont be afraid the halving only affects the miners so dont be scared of a price drop it wont happen. because he is rising and we are in the halving

If you do not want to crash the price of bitcoin then try to invite more people to invest in bitcoin and also do not sell your coins but if you need to buy anything then go to those shops where bitcoin is accepted and buy from there with your bitcoins.

i'll buy which ever coin is going up. i think this is what the rest of us will do as well. we can't just give up crypto because bitcoin crash.

The crash could happen after halving because most of the user's mindset IMO is just to sell their coins after halving and if that happens massive drop for the price will occur.
I agree with you that if the price will crash, its the best to just buy more bitcoins and save it and just wait for the price to rise again so in that method we can still make good profits.

Depends what you mean by crash really,  im expecting some sort of crash but if it was to crash down to say 50 dollars then we might be in trouble.  I  wouldn't be too concerned if we went all the way down to 300 because we obviously don't have the adoption if that was the case so a drop this far would allow new investors to buy in.

I also think that we may be in the middle of a pump and the dump could come around halving.
