As long as you can see a form of value in that investment that will give something useful to the world in the future, it's a good investment. The halving event didn't have as big of an effect as hoped because of the overexcitement that it caused. This kind of lead up to a huge market event is sometimes a bit disappointing for traders becuase they never thought that it would react in the opposite direction.
