As an experiment, I'm selling bitcoins for PPEUR (PayPal euros)...  if any only if you have a good reputation on IRC or the forums here.

See the order book for #bitcoin-otc on freenode:

     http://bitcoin-otc.com/vieworderbook.php

PayPal permits conversion between currencies, if you don't have PPEUR but you do have other PP currencies.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I may take you up on that, but if this is an experiment you have interest on, maybe the price should be somewhat lower than the USD counterparts there?

It's pretty much a straight conversion from what I think a fair USD price is, based on today's USD/EUR exchange rate...

Yes, you are right, I've used an up to date exchange rate now and ended up with .098 USD. Pardon my nitpicking Smiley

Want to try a smallish amount, say 100 coins so we can assert that doing this using PP balance doesn't charge fees? I'm assuming yours is a personal account. PM me your PP address and I'll ship the € and respond with a BC address.

Tried to buy some. I got this message:
Shopping Cart Interface of this merchant is not configured properly. Please report this error to the merchant along with exact steps that led to this error.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Looks like Liberty Reserve's most recent software update introduced some API incompatibilties.  Grumble.  Smiley  Let me go fix that...

... and what is the lr account? Send it by pm.

I would rather do LR via the website, as that's actively tracked and not experimental.

I've opened a ticket with LR.

This issue should now be fixed.  I have turned LRUSD and LREUR payments back on.  Make sure to select LREUR rather than the default LRUSD from the drop-down box, to select Euro payment.

Details:

In Liberty Reserve's recent October 17th software update, they shrank the merchant memo field length below 52 characters (docs say limit is 100).  Anything above this newly-shortened length caused LR to reject the entire payment.

Short version: a new LR bug in the Oct 17 update.

Another error found on your site.

Your GDP payment form just locked my account. I contacted gdp support and they said your script was API error settings and they locked my account for security.

I'm not sure how you managed that Smiley  When I attempt GDP payment, I get the error I'm supposed to get:  "GlobalDigitalPay payments are temporarily disabled, while we resolve some bugs in Bitcoin Store software."

This happened today, or sometime earlier?
