What has gone on since Bitcoin that is worth staying for ? ..not much.
I seen promise back in the GridCoin or Prime Coin or Quark days though.
I actually thought hey we could see a ground breaking (easy to accept) actual advancement.
Those hopes were squashed when the crowd rushed in and cloning ramped up to a fever pitch.
Have we improved on Bitcoin ?
Not really in my opinion.

www.ipominers.com in tandem with Bittrex for example started whole sale cloning.
For a couple weeks i told guys around Crypto i was going to try that pool out..
I said i would join the dark side and try it out for a bit a couple years back (early 2014'ish)
I signed up at ipominers and had pretty much just 1 GPU ..a Radeon 7950
And when i told people that they were in complete shock i had only ONE !
They would laugh and say oh bullshit you REALLY have 20 of them don't you ?
The result of that ?

I started out with my Radeon 7950 and an Nvidia card and a CPU or two off & on etc. (so nothing much)
It became apparent quick i could not keep up.. not with earnings (i was content making next to nothing)
The problem was all the hash on ipominers moved to the new coin.. leaving the last one dead !
ipominers was a multi-coin pool.
Problem was they started REALLY fucking adding & dropping coins fast & hard..
And then started raising min withdrawals etc.
It was a problem right away for me that i could not even make enough of the coin targeted
to hit the min withdrawal amount in order to send them to Bittrex to dump them (like everyone else)
And you all know you would have had to dump ASAP so if your last you ain't makin' squat.
Problem was the coins were getting added then delisted at Bittrex so fast i could not get 1 cash out.
Then i noticed a peculiar thing happening..
The NEW scrypt clone coins were showing up at ipominers.com at the SAME EXACT time as Bittrex.
I thought ok now wait a fucking minute.. this is way beyond coincidental after a while ROFL
And of course they won't admit shit all.. which is my point to this story
ALL of Bittrex struts around with this smug chip on their shoulder like they
are they shining beacons of integrity in Crypto.. innocent little angels that have never done no wrong.
But..
Who was pulling all that shit ?
Who was supporting the cloning / profit machine ?
Who was making, mining, setting up pools then adding + delisting them asap all this time ?
