I get into bitcoin in Early dec 2015 , My friend invited me long time ago but i didnt respond in his invitation. But when i see him own a brand new iphone , I was shocked cause he earn it by using bitcoins only. That was my first time of trying bitcoin

The first time I hear about bitcoin is about 9 month ago, when my litle brother know about bitcoin from his school friends, but I'm not to interested and then my brother teach me about bitcoin. After I'm understand about what amazing bitcoin I'm start to earn bitcoin by faucet.

I got into bitcoin few years back when bitcoin was popular at the cloud mining area, but before that i heard about bitcoin on the ads/popups and the name of bitcoin was curiosity for me and i searched about this new thing. I can say that it changed my life and the opinion about cryptocurrency.

at first I heard bitcoin from my friends some years ago, and my friends tell me about bitcoin giveaway in some alt site and then I try to get some BTC from here, So , after that I'm interested in getting more info about bitcoin.

I think it was January of 2015. Just like pocarime32 I have typed in to google something about earning money online. Results directed me to bitcoin article's. Soon after reading I have checked what exactly a faucet is.
That was my start with BTC. Epay.info was the place where my first account and bitcoin address where generated.
I think that week later with first epay payout I have had to create the actual wallet on my hdd.

I first heard about it, the turn of January 2013. I had been planning to build a badass rig, but only ended up doing it a year and a half later... And I was watching videos on the gist of how it all worked, what mining was. etc, etc. It did seem very cool to me, but I didn't have hardware capable of mining at the time. Worst part is, I was able to afford it, I just kind of put it off because of school, time constraints, etc.

At that point, I'd have been getting almost 4 BTC/month with the same rig I'd later build (and am currently typing on now). And it's not like I'd have made much in BTC, because that's around the time the difficulty started to skyrocket, even when GPU's were being used. Still, it would have been better than struggling for a handful of BTC like I am now... lol

Guess you just gotta keep moving forward.

I cant really remember exactly but i think around the end of 2014. I found it difficult to buy bitcoin because i wanted to use paypal to buy them.  Ended up buying linden dollars and then converting to btc on virizo or whatever that site used to be called.  Took ages to actually be able to withdraw them as well.  I say them i think i bought around 0.1 or something,  can't quite t remember.

I don't think so, majority of people are into bitcoin only because of their friends, as its really difficult to trust everything that you come across on google, but you can afford to trust your friends.

The first time I heard about Bitcoin was early in 2013. I think the media coverage was still scarce back then and I found out about Bitcoin by reading technical blogs online. As I was kinda skeptical at first it took me some time before I wrapped my head around the technology and learned how to use it and my first purchased coins came around the summer of 2013. Unfortunately I didn't invest a lot back then and missed out on the insane price increase to $1250 in the winter. I wonder how my life would have changed if I had bought more cheap coins.

I heard about it in the late 2013 just before the hype   A friend told me that he bought 100 LTC at 3$ and he will make a huge profit and that was the part which got me interested. At first I was like "dafuq is this shit", but later I started mining some alt coins with my shitty Nvidia - 1 month later the price skyrocketed and I saw the potential that is behind the currency The only thing that I regret is, not knowing about Bitcoin back in 2011 or something - my friend knew about it back then, but didn't told me about it and he didn't buy any at that time - such a pity...

Well, I got into bitcoin at around 2011 when the price was still really really cheap. However, I didn't realise what bitcoin's benefits are and why it could be such a good replacement for fiat currencies.

first time i heard about bitcoin was back in 2011, but i did not take it seriously until last year. after reading reviews and speculations on bitcoin price specially on  how it might go way up this mid year, i decided to buy some coins using a chunk of my savings, price was around 200 usd then. And now, thanks to the huge increase in price, lets just say im glad i made that decision
