i got all my freelance work payment via bitcoin all these 3 years. spent very little. believed in bitcoin and was holding all these times. finally its going uppppp !!! who is holding like me since this long?
Good for you that you have been able to hold on to your Bitcoin for such a long time, I would not be able to do that. If you have been holding for so long then I am sure that you will be able to make a huge profit right now if you sold.

That is a good thing for you to hold on to your Bitcoins for such a long time, most people would have sold there coins a long time ago.
The number one thing with Bitcoin is that if you really want to make money that you will have to wait a long time and be patient.

Yes the man with the power to have patience do get success for sure. As talking about myself, I was into bitcoin since
2013 and collecting little and little each year and up to now holding all my bitcoins.

I started mining seriously since early 2011 and 20% of the coins I've mined have gone to savings. Although I blown through the remaining 80% (mining equipment, speculation, bad investments, scams, cash out to fiat, etc.) , some of the coins in my savings addresses are over  5 years old. I was lucky in that I went through 2 phases of highly profitable mining - 1) early GPU mining, and 2) batch 1 Avalon ASICs.

Awesome, starboy.  I have had mixed feelings for years about bitcoin, and it's only been in the last 9 months or so that I've seen its strengths.  I've bought and sold--stupidly--a little here and there, and I haven't accumulated much.  Still working on it.  It's great that you got paid in bitcoin.  I'm definitely not in a field where that could happen anytime soon.

That is already a long time to hold your coins for I believe that you have bought for a very low price so you can sell some coins right now for a profit.
You can also hold on for a longer time if you want to make some more money.

Well, I was impatient, so I have started selling my bitcoin when its price rises to $ 400, then I need the money to develop some business. so I exchange it, but now I am back again to hold bitcoin, because there is a possibility this year bitcoin price will be $ 1,000. you hold your bitcoin in a long time, maybe if you hold on a little longer, you could sell it at the price of $ 1,000

I admire your decision to decide investing it for long-term as it means that you trust bitcoin that it will be successful someday. And here you are, happy with the decision you made. I wish I knew bitcoin on it's early days.

it was long enough and eventually you get the right moment to sell.

I could do the same thing as you, when I had a job and was busy with my job.

I was never able to hold on to my coins for that long because I was to greedy when it came to making money. Every time that I could make a profit I sold.
I am going to try to hold on to my coins for a longer time because then I will be able to make more money.

I've been hodling since late 2012, after bitcoin crashed. It was all over the news, and everyone was flocking away from it, so naturally I flocked towards it. Smiley

i got all my freelance work payment via bitcoin all these 3 years. spent very little. believed in bitcoin and was holding all these times. finally its going uppppp !!! who is holding like me since this long?

No, I sold way too early not expecting the Bull mania to get so crazy, so soon.

I am conducting the same strategy.
Buy low... hold
Wait
But more... hold

This way i hope to gather around 40 bitcoin when we will see the real price of bitcoin, and i get a good pension life.

I'm holding some but I have also sold some. I'm not sure why it's going up so much. It could be a pump and dump or just panic buying. There's no way to know yet until we see a sell off.

I am really jealous of you outatime1 Smiley If only I could have saved my bitcoins more than I could, I would do that but it was really a good lesson for me. I am now growing it tightly and steady and hold until I can hold on. I now see the value of bitcoin as gold treasure - I feel so much love to bitcoin.

Well people don't know future so there's a reason why you sold it and no one will blame you in that way. We all have different perspective towards bitcoin before.

You are lucky because you don't need to exchange in real cash!
but even nice choice!
So holding it's the best choice, like a bet that start from 1000 to 1.01 there are 999.99 points when you can sell Wink
So where is the point 1.01? I think there is a lot distance from this day and we can hold without doubts Wink
