Well, that sounds pretty good, especially if you already have a lot of bitcoin in your wallet. it can make a profit in large numbers. I advise to sell it when the price of bitcoin has gone up to $ 1000, because at that time, I think the price of bitcoin becomes unstable, because it will be very many people who sell their bitcoin.

I applaud what you're doing. not everyone can hold their bitcoin within a few months, even more years. may hold a little longer to make aware to sell bitcoin. maybe you should target the price at which you can sell bitcoin what you have. maybe $ 800 is a pretty good number for selling bitcoin, but it all depends on you

It is good that your were in bitcoin before 2012. Some of us are in the crypto currency when the Ethereum was $3.

All those people who do not need much money or who have already some money or income for their expenditure, do not need to spend their bitcoins or to convert them to fiat, so it is not hard for them to hold them for years, as there is no any lose or risk in holding bitcoins for longer.

i have been holding bitcoin for more than 2 years also. but i also have been accumulating and spending bitcoin at the same time too. and i can't imagine just putting my time and money into bitcoin and never getting anything out of it.
i prefer to get something out even if it is a very small amount.

I am sure that you are able to make some money because if you are holding for that long you must have bought your Bitcoins for a cheap price.

If you have enough patience and dedication to keep holding your coins for several years, then definitely go for it! But it's not as easy as it may seem. Plenty of people get very tempted to sell their coins once they see the price has gone up and they made around 20-30% profit. Solid holders can keep holding even when they doubled their money.
