- 1.500.000 coins reserved for Signature campaign. Now You can put anything in your signature expressing the support for ChessCoin.

Does that mean we can keep the previous signatures?

Publish at least 40 posts with it

What about the posts published before the ICO was canceled?

Do we need to resubmit the form even if our rank did not change?

The staking formula was removed from the original post, does it still apply?

This is rule for new comer. Who submitted the form don't need to refill.

Bounties for Twitter, Facebook, Newsletter will be distributed soon (next 1-2 days)

Stakes for Siganture bounty campain will not be affected.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

I think you should learn more before the ICO

I think you are totally ignorant of what really happen you should do a back read instead of judging by perception,he used a trusted escrow make used an existing coin for ico and make social media and signature campaign for marketing everything seems good until Yobit decide to include it on trading since the yobit teams knows that this is a very profitable and promising coin nothing to blame here..

Cheesy people tend to just pull the trigger without even investigating LOL, anyway i think it's time to move on and I don't see this a sad day for CHESSCOIN.  Anyone care to create a slack channel so we can discuss stuff there?  Im really still positive that this project will take off.

even with the small negative developments today, still excited to see this coin grow.

Supporters are always excited to see his supported coin grow, nice of you to be around we can still help by spreading the news and keep the interest alive for ChessCoin, I don't think Dev is leaving this project dead.

Is the person you delivered the big amount of chess to for helping you a vietnamese? if so, is there no way to get him banned on yobit? I know his username.

I think let's just move on, and let him keep his profit today.  Wink

there are couple of things i wanted to know.

Do you have the copy of your wallet.dat for chesscoin?
Did you reformat your windows?
Do you know that appdata is hidden so you need to set an option to view hidden folder?

I can send you a picture on how to locate your wallet.dat of chesscoin if you don't know how to.

yes, please help me.... my windows not installl and my wallet dat i don't delete

of first you need to make hidden folder visible, you must follow this link instruction

Unhide-Folders-in-Windows-7

then you need to locate your appdata which is located in:

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUserName\Application data\ChessCoin (XP)

C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\ChessCoin (Vista and 7)

after locating the chesscoin folder you will see this stuff

make a back up of your wallet.dat

then:

run Chesscoin qt

note:

ignore the wallet folder coz there will be none in there, i just created it to store different wallet.dat of the same coin

So now what? Dump all the chesscoins till they reach 1 sat (they're selling at 12 now) (who's gonna buy them anyway, the dev?) and then dump the refunded Bela until it reaches 1 sat as well?
And for the invested Bela, people only invested Bela because of the 1k rate, if they didn't have it, they mined it, they bought it, they earned it. There doesn't seem to be any use for Bela apart from betting in BellaChess, people will probably dump it and lose money (they won't get rewarded properly for the time and energy they spent ...)

Pretty much. The dev effectively killed the price of both altcoins. With that being said, it doesn't surprise me to make a poor financial decision like that. Putting the 10x BELA price and taking it away halfway through the ICO was also an awful idea. Anyone worth their salt would have seen right off the bat that the ICO was effectively being ended early when BELA compensation dropped from 1k to 100. Absolute piss poor decision making all around. Oh well, I'm officially a Chess bagholder now Cheesy

Sadly it looks like ChessCoin is headed where all poorly developed/managed coins go; 1 sat. Too bad really.

I wouldn't necessarily say he killed both coins, as Bela in theory can withstand a 2-3 btc dump ... if done semi- slowly. So just a note to ICO people getting refunds, may be best to slowly sell the coins if prices are low, rather than dump to smithereens. Bela had 2 btc volume today for instance and is still higher in price than it was during most of the ICO time period. It's been trading in the 80-200 range for the last several months, even before chesscoin came around.

As for chesscoin ... not that surprising after seeing the volume numbers on yobit recently. I was about to post today that the escrow terms very well may have been broken by the early trading to begin with.

Thing is, either it was terrible decision-making and/or shadiness. Once it became obvious that the yobit trading wasn't simply a handful of coins, things became murky.

I guess this is a lesson learned for me. I suppose I only put about $100 worth of BTC into CHESS on the yobit exchanges, so it could be much worse, but seeing my coins depreciate to 1/3rd of the value when I bought it just a few hours earlier is certainly disheartening. I've been on a very good run with trades lately, but just bought into this and Billary at the wrong time. Gonna have to deposit even more BTC in to Yobit so I can make some better decisions and recover my losses.

why OP can not control the price at the market , he is the holder of coin ? ico canceled and the bounty is not distributed why prices are falling so far ? suspicious.

Personally I stay away from Yobit... never traded there at all. Too many junk coins and the exchange itself doesn't exactly have a stellar reputation.

I'd instead say put that btc into bittrex or polo and pick some coins there.

I'm not above putting a little into iffy coins at times (I put some bela crumbs into this thing, for instance), but it's always such a small amount where if I lose it, so be it ... won't bother me that much. Unfortunately most of yobit's coins look iffy, too much pump/dump for my liking.

I'm in process of introducing ChessCoin Android and iOS wallets next some days.

Think it's fortunate for you to hold that bag.
