Yes, we couldn't upload the blockchain… even the new blocks didn't work… now we have over 92million ChessCoins and at 32% inflation we get problems with new Forks... Nice to see you here... welcome back...

Where is the value in keeping a wallet open to help the chain?at 0.32 percent sync up close wallet wait a yr resync and close dont make sence to me?
Today I was asked for the first time why I prefer an inflaftion of 0.32%... that's easy to answer: For example: A 1000000 Coins Masternode (ChessCoin has now 92 millions Coins) would be a realistic size to set up a ChessCoin Masternode... but (!) it is not the same when you operate with low inflation and high volumes a Cryptocurrency? That's the only reason why I wanted to set up 0.32%! We had now 32% inflation for three years and could now run with a low inflation and a high number of coins would be the same yield… much easier than usual Masternode and without the technical Background - only with Proof of Stake (PoS) Your ChessCoin would have become an investment in long years… Why should I still support ChessCoin? ChessCoin is old… NovaCoin isn't updated (ChessCoin is a fork from NovaCoin) What have I learned? I've learned to organize a Hard Fork and that work isn't easy... I've tried it at least...

Node running smoothly now, staking with 6 connections. It might be an idea to get someone tech-savy to periodically add checkpoints to the github repo.

Sorry but I am a little confused about what the current status is. Are we back to our old wallets with the 32%?

I have revived: the project blockhashes of the ChessCoin blockchain " ... and with this tries to give more trust into the blockchain (via timestamp here, see commits). use cases, e.g.: a block explorer shows you data: can you trust it? ... Why? It is controlled by 1 person who can edit his database at any point :-( thus, check it with here. (Also, don't trust me, check my data here with a block explorer :-) ) new users sync the chain: they can stop syncing when they see they are on a fork (hashes do NOT match) ... My wallet is showing almost completely a zero balance after I've installed the new bootstrap.
It is in fact my old wallet as I see the old staking history but the balance is gone.

Thanks. It does not have a repair wallet in the menu. I tried to enter it at the console command line. Do you know the exact syntax?

Thanks. It does not have a repair wallet in the menu. I tried to enter it at the console command line. Do you know the exact syntax? Close the wallet, make a backup of the wallet.dat, put in the chesscoin.conf file "reservebalance=9999999", restart the daemon or qt with flag "-rescan". That's going to take a long time, but unspent outputs should be recovered that way.

Incidentally, I kept the old blockchain folder, just relabelled it so the wallet would read it instead of the new one. I see my coins there now. I originally was having problems because it wasn't syncing.

Luckily, my balance was relatively small as I sold a lot of it back in June.
