In short, if you started buying bit coins in the red mark you fail to understand trends. If you sold in red then bought in blue your a smart cookie. Wink

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. Header-only clients like MultiBit trust that the majority of mining power is honest for the purposes of enforcing network rules such as the 21 million BTC limit. Full clients do not trust miners in this way.

Looks like business as usual to me. Of course you have to use a log scale since the nominal value means nothing: it's only the rate of change that means anything at all.
