what idea has the wolrd about Mexico and the Mexican People

All the time in series and movies when some one goes to México, always is a little tewn with people with a big hat, brownie, with a big "mustache" and a little ignorant.

But Mexico is not only a place like that, is a country with one of the most crowded cities in the world, and with beautiful beaches and modern buildings.

When i went to San Diego, California the people had a strange idea about México, most of them because they only was known the border, but what thinks the people in the world about Mexico?

I think it's a country entirely run by Cartels and drug lords/killers who pay off the police and high up politicians.
