They upgraded their server last night... although it was a bit flaky until an hour ago.
I can log in fine now. Guess they need more power to handle the volume.

Is this still happening? You sure there are no extra spaces, new lines, etc?

Would be very worrying.

I did cut an paste from my password and the id, so there is no mistakes.

I have multiple backups of my password and ID

this is a test/watch account only I was not about to add Google authenticator to my real account [though I am not sure this is the problem] without testing first

but it was DEFINITIVELY FLAKY

sometimes logged in sometimes reported errors

that it was not the right password

I eventually got in and emailed the aes.json to myself

and tried to load that into multibit...it worked!!!! where the cut and paste change file name from rtf to aes.json would not!!!!

but now multi bit appears to want to down load from "genesis" block

dont get me wrong I really like Blockchain.info and think it is a great service...

but these last two days have been harrowing

They weren't actually upgrading servers.  It was just their default "down" message.

Clear your Cache!! This happened to me before. Clearing the cache resolved it. And I also cut and pasted both fields from a text file.

PS-What OS and browser are you using?

Traffic is being routed through clouflare at the moment to protect our hosting provider. The site should be back up fairly shortly.
