Because of increasing demand, we are releasing the 19th batch of the Antminer S7. The Antminer S7 is our most successful bitcoin miner to date and, at 0.25 J/GHs, it is the most efficient 28nm bitcoin miner that is ready to order.
We will start taking orders on https://goo.gl/pJSm6N at 20:00 (GMT +8) tomorrow (15 June 2016).
Regards,
the Bitmain team.

Regards,
the Bitmain team. Interesting move Bitmain made... maybe it was to offset their BM1385 because they had too many? Usually I would guess that they'd make a rackminer, but they kind of have already. Doesn't make sense to buy this either, so I'm truly confused why they even released this. No profit for whoever does. If anything, demand is DECREASING than increasing for the S7. The only people hyped about this are newbies or people with cheaper electricity, and even with that I'd still avoid this miner. It does have a psu and costs 300$, but still, has to be bitmain being desperate to get rid of BM1385s. 28NM HINT HINT PLEASE READ

No, since Batch 8 , they never had 0.25 J/GHs.

At 0.10$/kwh, you'll make around 125$ until the halving, then expect another 100 dollars or so before negative mining reward. Yeah... Definitely not something you'd want to buy for profit, but if this is a miner for learning, it's a good one. Honestly, if you're going to learn, you might as well buy a S7-LN. Free psu, and runs a basically the same efficiency. Same miner with less hashrate. Dunno why anybody would buy this, if you'd like to lose money, might as well buy a S7-LN. Different story at 0.05$/kwh, but still, no profit to be found there. Unless you have free electricity, S7-LN is the way to go instead of this.

Why would anyone want to buy S7 at this point in time? You have to be stupid, foolish, idiotic, naive, or ignorant to buy one. I'm trying to SELL mine, not buy it.
Remember, you also need an expensive power supply, at least 1500 Watt, with 10 PCI-E leads.

It all depends on your electricity price, some no doubt will still be pulling in profit after having (espically if btc keeps climbing). Hard to say how many cent's per KW after having .... but yes some still will turn profit running. Also if you go with the AP3 psu it's not really that expensive for what you get. I have had good luck with them and since they kept design with S9 means multiple generations of miners can run on it. And I have spent more on ATX psu's so... don't see it as horribly priced. But guess my opinion on that.
