Doesnt look like you can buy without the box. Also the single 5btc is 6 but if you buy 5 of them you have to pay an additional 2btc (32btc total)? Thought it would be the other way around you would get a discount. Either way i will see how this progresses and will probably pick one up. Thanks Miner
Edit: what is the min amount (total for the group) before we set the order (or is it by time?)

Are these (1 BTC) coins marked "Series 2" or something? How do they differ from the last group buy that sold out?

They are the second batch 1BTC, but I doubt they'll be marked differently as that will mean new tools to make them. The pictures on the site look the same too.

Think they were just out of stock not so much the series. Think they are making the V series until block halving happens.

I also have a giftcode for the 5BTC but I'm not using it. PM me if you want it I emailed BTCC about the codes I received. It appears they are stackable; however, it didn't specifically state if they were reusable and/or if stackable means the coupon can be used for multiple coin purchase or if it meant a coupon for each (1 coin and 2 coin set) was stackable. Also, I noticed that BTCC removed the available number of sets available for the 5 coin set. Last time I looked, there was 19 left.

By removing the numbers you can put a little pressure on customers, making them think the coins are nearly sold out.

There was only the QTY for the 5 coin set. Not sure how much pressure as not too many people are in line to pay the premium of 7BTC for a set with a face value of 25BTC. It's nice that it is also the only coin (set) with an exact production limit. It would be nice if the other coins did the same with regards to the limit. The coin tracker by Anduck makes it nice as it shows how many are made (and redeemed).

On other notice, the new 1BTC red cases look pretty sweet

Ok i am trying to convince myself to buy one or two of these but i cant get the gut feeling in my stomach. Its sounds like an operation of multiple people in building these coins, and all it takes is one rougue employee to get their hands on the keys.....does anyone else feel this way or can someone dispel my fear of this. I do like the straight from the block bitcoins loaded on these.

They are the second batch 1BTC, but I doubt they'll be marked differently as that will mean new tools to make them. The pictures on the site look the same too. I suppose the question in my mind is more like... Are all the BTCC Titanium V-Series 1BTC physical bitcoins from the same original batch (all coins minted and funded at around the same time), just released in two intervals? I ask this, because it may influence collectibility in the future. If all the coins were minted / funded at around the same time, then I would consider them all to be of the same series (Series 1), just released in two intervals. However, if the second release was minted / funded at a considerably different time, then I would consider these coins to be two different series (Series 1 and Series 2). Like most cryptocoins, the series one coins would be more collectible in the future and worth a bit more. Does that make sense? Thanks, Me

They are incrementally funding these (not all on the same day) Edit: i believe these are all "v" series or their first series of coins. Think in the forum bobby explained that the v series will be complete ir done once halving arrives. So about another 3 weeks or so of minting these

So, then... I guess that if the coins were all minted at the same time (which is highly probable), then I'd consider them all of the same (first) series. Thanks, wheelz. Regards, Me

Regards, Me The new batch of 1 BTC coins haven't been minted yet. I received an email from BTCC saying the following: Interest in the One Bitcoin was phenomenal, and we quickly sold out our first batch. In light of the huge demand we’ve seen, we are now making preparations to manufacture and sell our next batch before the block halving. As a new option, you can now order the One Bitcoin with a red leatherette etui. You can preorder the coins now; they will ship by June 30th:
