How to Turn Gambling into a Profitable Activity

I've been trying to be profitable in sports gambling for a long time.

The method I use is to start with 0.001 & see how much I can profit or lose from that.

There have been a few times I've got as high as 0.016 from 0.001.

When I win that much I make bad decisions and always lose it all.

Managing greed & emotions & maintaining self control is what I have the most trouble with.

Even if I'm losing I feel like it is a good therapy to learn not to worship money and resist it influencing me.

Managing greed is a hard thing to do. When you are able to obtain a larger amount of money, greed will come in. The fact that we want more and want the profit faster tells it all. When we lose we double the bet until we take back everything we lose.
I dont think there is a way gor gambling to be profitable, it is cheating if you can find  one.

yeah cheating or finding bugs or create script that will intercept what would be the possible results, for sure its a hard thing to find since the house also make its move to avoid and secure their business but in your opinion i guess you are right if we can control our emotion and not become greedy maybe we can lessen our risk to lose huge bankroll.

All gambling games are dangerous I guess, the fact that you put money to gamble, you might lose it and will not able to recover again. I like to think that sports betting is easier than other type of gambling, but as of this time, I cannot still prove myself that I am good. The results says it all, I am still at lose as of now.

That is so true I was doing sports gambling and tbh it is was really profitable. I don't know which site you use but for me the minimum bet is 1$ I started wirh 20$ and reached 100$ safely but of course I put all in on a odd of 1.2 and the other team odd was 7 , but unfortunately sports isn't predictable and 1.2 odd lost and I lost everything I had earned.
But I agree sports betting is way less risky compared to gambling

The gambling is not a profitable activity, and it is a just fun game. But if you want to turn your gambling into a profitble activity you should play skill games. In slot games, you can not make its profit. So skill games are better to make some money. Here you should have decent capital, and you must have knowledge on games. for example sports betting and Poker games are profitable in gambling. I use to play these games to make money.

All those strategies, discipline, schedule and other things only can help you to reduce your loss in gambling over the time, but I don't think that they may help you to make money from gambling. Because gambling is not for making money but just to enjoy our free time and get fun with our money. So spend always small amounts to get these fun and if you want to make money then invest in some other businesses.

The problem is, we will not enjoying on gambling for just a small money to risk. For me. We can enjoy if are risking money that we can't afford to lose. In that case , we can really enjoy to gamble because that is the real gambling gaming. You can. Invest in the gambling industry. Its not necessary that you have to play, invest in sites to have shares. Gambling always attracts a lot of gamblers so you will very well earn a lot when you invest or you can set up your own gambling site or a small casino.

But we can play even though we are the owner of that casino right? what is wrong with that. It is good that you make your own business that you really like and it is not bad when you start investing before you set up your own business.

It sometimes happen that the owner himself gamble in his casino but according to my views he gamble only because he want to keep active his casino he do not want that a player come and do not find any person to play with him in those gambling sites where the game are designed as multiplayers. They are only for their business purposes and maybe sometime they play for entertainment that is also not bad.

Generally it's not possible to make money on a daily basis, and I think people who claim that they live on this, probably have been very lucky and made fortunes in days. you mean gambling with bitcoin ? actually there always a way , it is depend on how you do and handle it.

That's true staying away from gambling is always the best way but as said bitcoin itself is not a profitable one is not the right thing. With bitcoin even without doing anything you can earn profit just by holding. Gambling too will be profitable if you participate without greed. People just place on the high odds even after knowing that the low odd wins.

You're exactly right. Once we win, greed and emotion takes over ending up losing everything then start all over. Its really hard to control these because the feelings of winning makes you want to win more and bet more than you originally intended.

Yeah, you can do good for the longest time and one slip up could result in your whole bankroll going down the drain as well. It is hard to ever stay in the positive for long.

Yeah, you can do good for the longest time and one slip up could result in your whole bankroll going down the drain as well. It is hard to ever stay in the positive for long.

True, but that is doable, our skills to predict the right outcome of the game should be integrated with some discipline, bankroll management is very important. You cannot be greedy like other people are doing, that is a sign of immaturity in gambling. I doubt if one would be successful in the long run without discipline.

That's is too big dude, where did you get that figure? We may be able to earn that amount but I doubt if we can do it consistently in a monthly basis. Just to make a conservative estimate, I guess a 100% increase for a year is more reasonable. With that figure, you need to put a decent amount so it can give you good income as well.
