We're about 80% through building a website that hosts a couple of HTML5 games that can be played and are timed.
Before playing any game, you deposit an amount of 0.015BTC.
You play the game and attempt to complete the objectives (for example: make 100 points in the time limit, etc).
If you do, you are returned your 0.015BTC with a small addition to it, approximately $1 in BTC.
Else, you loose and your money goes to us. Simple.

Does this sound like something you'll play or use?

We're open to suggestions and feedback on the idea. But we think this will be extremely fun!

If it works out, we're planning to go mobile as well.

Thanks for your time.

The biggest problem I see with this is people feeling they are cheated or the system cheats, etc. This is why gambling sites tend to put a high emphasis on provably fair. You will likely need to do something like this if you have random elements in your game or people will moan.

Haha, a very valid point there. And I guess we could make the system open-source after launch, no problem there. At least the relevant game logic can be open source so the community can check to see that we aren't doing anything mischievous! Thank you for your suggestion! Smiley

Since you're 80% through the development process you might just wanna go ahead and launch it to try how practically it works out.You could have asked the same question before implementing initial ideas.

-Such games already exist, have you heard about that game where we tame pigs and shit ,I kinda forgot the name.

-Similar games like scratchcard or Android Satoshi box games are in the market which aren't doing as good.

-How would you ensure provably fair in your gambling gaming platform ?

-Does the games have potential to attract gamblers from dice playing crowd.

-Not the least, check out the website in my signature, they have amazing graphical games which are mobile compatible.

Agreed. But this is something else. Not scratchcard. Not exactly an online casino. But rather, platformer or arcade games similar to those you have on your phone. Like the ones Ketchapp makes.

We'll try our best to prove fairness in the game.

Yes, we believe the game attacks a wide audience. From people that just want to game, to people that gamble.

Your website gives me this: http://imgur.com/Xo0EhHI.

Good luck in your development, you might consider turning it into a kit that allows other to build their own arcade games. You have have better luck releasing a kit rather than your own game. I've noticed over the years here in this forums, a lot of other people want to build those types of games, but I don't see a lot of people playing them. So, you might see more success in building the fishing pole versus fishing.

Personally, I have no interest in this project
But The anonymity of bitcoin makes it easy to implement the application.

Besides provably fair game which you must to implement, you need extra ordinary gameplay, rise the reward for attract people to play your project.

Cool idea, but I don't see how it'll work. 0.15 is basically 10+ bucks, so it'll have to be a 1 in 10 chance of losing. That'll also make it pretty easy, and even something like a time based challenge can easily be repeated.

Yes, we'll have to make sure that there is a business here, while trying to provide fun games for users to play. We should also maintain difficulty, as you rightly mentioned. Thank you for your feedback, the points have been noted! Smiley

Very interesting!  Which games have you incorporated so far?  I assume you are using existing HTML5 games rather than developing your own right?

Make sure you're outside of the US. They're harsh here in the states on gambling sites :|
