Not really, it is normal, only bitcoin pump caused alt down, alt will have a comeback in a few days.

OP says to update to v.2.0.0 wallet by today.....as a non-techie investor i'm unsure what to do in light of above post.

I'm checking with devs if the new binaries are near completion. You are fine as long as your current wallet is version 2.0, the newest update just bans any older clients prior to bug fix from connecting to the network.

Someone (myself or others) will post here when the newest update is available.
