Somebody recently passed a piece of information to me (conversation log), indicating that Chris Trew, CEO of Stratis, has been instrumental in manipulating the Stratis price.
I'm not sure if this is a planned future pump, the past pump (ATH), or some smaller swings.
The evidence I was shown was very compelling. Without a doubt, there are a small in-group (led by Chris himself) who are manipulating the price, to take money from new investors, and profit themselves.
I know this sort of behaviour is common in crypto, but I honestly didn't expect it here, and I'm quite disappointed.
There's a trust issue here, for me. The tech may be sound, and the price may even moon in future, but learning that Chris is orchestrating pumps himself, has really made me lose faith in this project.
Chris, I expected better from you.
I'm out.

Hey somebody just showed me 'secret' evidence that dogs are manipulating BTC. It's so compeling... trust me these muts are all drooling and puppies eyes but behind the scenes wow! What bad doggies... if your going to accuse the team at least show some proof Mandeleev you sound like a troll tin hat manufacturer.

I've said all I need to say. If Chris reads this, he'll know exactly what I'm talking about. You clowns who think this game is all sunshine and roses make me laugh. "Ooo, we can't say anything negative about Stratis! Stratis is pure and good, and is going to the moon!" Naive, at best. Retarded, at worst. Not everything bad is "FUD", you know. Often it's just the truth. But, whatever. Not my problem anymore. Good luck with this con man.

You should add the honor Stratis signature first, new team member, hug! Mendeleev, shut up and leave here, no proof and you have to shut up, Chris is planning the new conference, we don't want to hear your false claim.

You're out? You were never in. All your posts in the Stratis thread has been negative. You even stated yourself, you have zero Stratis. Be gone now. You won't be missed.

The fact you are just saying some words based on no evidence tells enough. If it would be legit you would have lead with the evidence.
Next to that the timing is very well picked, after some good news from Chris.
I rest my case.
For all of you the news from Slack from our trustworthy CEO Chris:
We have been quiet on the news front while we finalise several things, this week we should see several announcements around, new team members, advisers and additional consultants. We are working with a real world growth strategy planning and execution consultancy that is building a world class team to define our business strategy moving forward. This will be combined with a tech announcement and a well known C# dev joining Stratis as an adviser while developing something thats not only a first in Bitcoin and blockchains but solves one of the major issues with blockchain privacy across the whole industry.
Also, a dev update will be released at the backend of next week.
Correct, that's full time devs! Although it's not in public, Nicolas consults with us on nearly a daily basis. He has made himself available for any questions Dan has while finalising the full node.

Thanks for the details you posted. Sometimes it is difficult to follow all the conversations in Slack. Let's see how it develops on the market the next weeks.

I missed the train when stratis ico was in progress and only around 400 btc was collected, looking at the current price it touched from 1.2k sat to 13k sat around 10x.
I really regret for not being part of it

You will probably regret it again if you don't get in at these prices . So hope you learned from your previous experience.
