I heard that this summer there will be a Halving, where the price of Bitcoin will either go up or down.
In your opinion, the Bitcoin will increase or decrease? how much?
The Halving is a good thing or not?
Hahaha, it's only people predict, we do not know what happen with bitcoin price on summer for sure. but if I looks bitcoin progress, for now, i think it's will increase until exceeding $800. in my local exchange bitcoin, price is $720 for now.
i think that it wont affect the bitcoin price if the bitcoin is halving because i know that it only affects miners and i dont mine it is something with the blocks are difficult to search for one now.

so far bitcoin has shown a lot of promise, it has gone up so fast and before the expected timeline and more importantly is that this price has stuck around so far ($670).

so despite the fact that it went up so fast to this point but it stayed high with a little back track as possible. so I would expect the same behavior and even bigger rise after the halving because the actual event has happened and the effect of halving which is decreased supply creation rate will be added to the effects causing the rise.

The Halving is a good thing or not?

I think the halving can really go both ways, because there might be a huge pump or a huge dump. The huge pump being that the blocks will halve and therefore miners will hang onto their coins instead of selling it, and the dump because of a potential bubble.

So go for whatever you believe in.

Yeah and we cannot be sure what will be the exact scenario after the halving, it would be really bad to see if price drops down, as everyone is expecting higher and stable price after halving.

After July, price will slowly drop to 300. Don't worry though, by end of the year, probably late November/early December, we will see higher highs and maybe a new ATH.

The Halving is a good thing or not?

halving being good or bad is a totally different argument that is related to the inflation rate and to put it simply the fact that there shouldn't be unlimited coins being created.

but the price is something else. the supply and demand aside, the hype of the halving and also the fact that there are many investors buying bitcoin and a lot of whales who have been accumulating it will bring bitcoin up to $1000 at the very least.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

The ha,ving does not anything to the price of the bitcoin maybe it will only slow the price increase because people think he would drop so they all hold their coins.

These are pretty much my same thoughts. After halving, BTC price will play at around 700 to 900 and will be stable just like that.

Yes halving will happen 10th or 11th July. Bitcoin price will be up or down, it's all depends on market demand. I guess price will go closer to $1000 its my opinion don't take it for your trading. Halving is block reward gets cut in half after a certain amount of the total supply has been mined. That means a block reward is 25 BTC and you will get 12.5 BTC at halving time.

So go for whatever you believe in.

I see a small dump happening as a test.

I pretty much assume it`ll go in this order though: prehalving price>halving price sell off small dump > selling more while price holds > creates a panic of the sell off > goes back to the price before the halving.. this from old eyes.

you can tell me if you see it any differently.

itll down but maybe to 560 area,

reason is after people panic buying btc, they will sell it slowly,
and like LTC after halving is down so much, reason is people sell all their ltc after panic buying

no, i doubt that the price will fall that much, most probably it will go down to something like 630 dollars or so and nothing else will happen, after some time we will see an increase again

i hope that halving will push bitcoin price to the new heights or that after the halving by the end of this year we will see a huge increase that will allow us to earn some decent money

I thought the main reason for the ltc pump was some chinese ponzi scheme.

As for bitcoin I think it's gonna settle down in the 5-600s. The hype'll be over and nothing much has changed otherwise. I don't think 1800 less coins a day is gonna have much effect, or if it does it'll take a while to become clear.

I think there are no reliable bases to foresee with complete accuracy the bitcoin price behavior after halving. There are lots of speculation about this issue, and most of them erroneously based on previous halving events, and I think it is an erroneous reference because current bitcoin conditions are very different from those days.

Well in my opinion bitcoin's price will dump after halving back to 550$ but not lower than that and it will steadily rise again. The other thing that might happen is that after dump it's value will be 600$ not 550$.
