Is the Chinese government going to squash us again?

So we have a nice rally going on. Maybe it's gonna turn into something epic.

We saw what the Chinese government got up to in late 2013. I guess that time around it was about removing bitcoin's use as a currency.

Alot of people this time are talking about capital flight and devaluation. I don't know the ins and outs but surely that's gonna grab far more of the government's attention than someone buying some cell phone credit.

Chinese trading is on a handful of exchanges and not really anywhere else. They're a perfect point for them to strangle it again. What does everyone think the attitude of the authorities is gonna be if it heads to the stars again?

The authorities can do shit nothing about Bitcoin. Just recently, the volume of Russian Rubble being being moved surpassed the all time high volume. Considering that Putin is scaring Russians away daily about Bitcoin usage, it shows people don't care about prohibitions, they can't do nothing unless they stop internet on their countries and thats stupid.

They can't stop bitcoin. They can certainly stop the exchanges. They're registered businesses, linked to banks and they're run by known people. A few phone calls and visits and the party stops.

Which doesnt help people to get involved - people get involved when they see profit. So if they dont see it in the exchanges they kill bitcoin indirectly or delay the growth of it..

Bitcoin may not die, but its growth is from exchanges.

Holy crap, I haven't checked the precious metals markets in weeks, just saw gold & silver have jumped.  Something is going on here.  I'm sure there are all sorts of reasons but China has got to have something to do with this and bitcoin's rise.  Craziness!!

Well even if a huge dump happens I think that China can't kill bitcoin. It may have an effect on it's price but I think bitcoin will continue to live. It will continue and grow again.
