Which are the best UK Banks to deal with when withdrawing from Bitcoin Exchanges ?

I only have 1 Bank Account (Santander) and i cannot afford for them to close my account if i do a transfer from a Bitcoin Exchange. Does anyone have knowledge if they will do that ? If so what are the best alternatives ?

I use Kraken, and withdraw to my Halifax account and have had no problems.

My advice - keep the withdrawals small (under £100) and infrequent (only once a week) to ensure you stay under the radar. It is a pain and means you can't withdraw lump sums, but it is safe.

I would open a second account with say Halifax and Barclays, so you can withdraw small amounts to each in turn. That way you won't trip any algorithms.

if you dont want the risks of withdrawing to your bank account, make a bitcoin friendly card(xapo, advcash etc) and just go to any atm. You will have to pay some fee's but it will be under the radar.

Look into Fidor. They're open in the UK and openly crypto friendly. I ain't sure if they're totally up to speed yet, there's some weirdness about pooling bank account numbers for transfers or something, but they're out there.
