Don't know if this is the right place to put this...

Sent a transfer on Bitcoin QT transfer without any transaction fee by accident... I didn't realise that you have to manually set one.

Is it possible to contact a miner with a transaction number and offer a reward for the mining of this to save me waiting 3/4 weeks?

I have seen some pools include transactions in their next block per request although I don't think it's something they actively look to do.

the good news is you wont have to wait 3 to 4 weeks.. it usually takes about 72 hours for a tx to drop from the network, so you can resend it with the proper fee...

what is your tx id? it might still can go through if its on the network

like aarons6 said: it might be usefull to show us the tx id, there are some exeptions wich sometimes allow 0 fee transactions to be included in blocks...

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees

topic "priority transactions", altough it seems like most miners will not include high priority transactions without a fee, you might get lucky if your priority is high enough (no guarantee tough)
