Is it as exciting for you as my first rally was, in the Silk Road days from 100$ to 1200$ throughout the entire summer. Needless to say, it was quite a psychedelic summer.

I still regard myself as a newtimer as I did not get into it prior to that, and even after, I remain an observer not wealthy enough to invest and weak hands that couldn't lift an apple pie.

I think this time it feels similar, we're somewhere in the middle...hype is yet to reach a boiling point...maybe this time it'll be a huge run-up to 2500$...or 5000$...wow!

I'm a newbie in the world of bitcoin, having first bought any just over a year ago when I registered here.  It feels great, except I sold a lot of what I had prior to this rally.  And said rally feels like 2013 which I watched but did not participate in.   It's definitely good to see people who had faith make some money.

I had always hoped we would see a more stable value with a steady rise but it doesn't seem to be the case.  Holding is difficult when the value spikes like this especially with the uncertainty surrounding the halving on the horizon.  I made my first BTC purchase in order to buy a BFL 50 miner.  The morning my cash deposit appeared in the trading account, the price started upward from ~$75 per coin and I chased it for a couple of bids but never caught it (I had no idea how it worked at first).  I gave up trying at ~$120 and I think it hit $250 that morning and right back down to $90 by the same afternoon.  I ended up buying that evening and sending the coin to BFL (that turned out to my second worst use of bitcoin - almost a total loss).

This rally makes me feel like selling it all and picking it up again when it tanks... but will it?

this rally that has started is giving me the same feeling of the last rises and i am very happy about it.

but also i am happy because of my predictions and the fact that i invested in bitcoin when it was pretty low and i have 3.75x my money Smiley

to the moon with bitcoin...

It's definitely exciting every time I open up mycelium to check on my paper wallet and see $1000.00 CAD now. We've almost doubled from the $530-$560CAD range we were stuck at for a while. I hope the price doesn't just crash after the halving though. Obviously there's got to be a correction at some point but let's hope it's just 10 or 20%.

Oh that's awesome fellow Canadian Grin the halving still feels so long away, and the repercussions indeed feel uncertain.

Since I'm poor I bought 1BTC at 606 CAD because I knew the happening was upon us Smiley, I couldn't even manage to keep it though...invested into all sorts of blockchain ICOs and altcoins hoping for a 20-100x return, but it turns out just buying BTC and holding (maybe some ETH) would have turned out a way more profitable scenario.  Cry

The thing is I get my next paycheck on the 31st. Will it be too late to buy in then? I want that useless CAD NOW! lol  Cheesy

Shoot even us old timers having been in this a long time it is very exciting. Somebody said in Bitcoins 2700 day existence only 60 of those days have been this price or higher. So it really is a rare occasion.

Very exciting to see this rally, especially if you have some coins stacked up and bought it at way less than the value it is today. I've been on the bitcoin train for about 4 years now, and for me, bitcoin never fails to surprise anyone--be it a newbie or an old timer.

As I had missed the 2013 rallies, now being a bitcoiner I am so excited to see the value of my bitcoins keeps on raising in my wallet (I use multibit classic and it has exchange price ticker). I wonder how as the feeling of early adopters when they see their thousands of bitcoins value in 2013 rally. Mind blowing....

Yep, I think we are being given a second chance to earn a lot with Bitcoin. Same remorse however thinking I should have bought more when I've had the chance.
