Sent bitcoins and electrum signed and verified like normal.  Transaction shows under history and unconfirmed status at the bottom.  Problem is the transaction never got broadcast to the blockchain.

tx ID ae36695e052cae305a99ea4718df7985320a7c1a45ea29eb8fa99c10fa441c4e

I tried updating to lastest client 2.6.4 and restarting program but blockchain shows nothing.  Any ideas?  I am connected I see the green dot on bottom right.

Try clicking on the green dot and change the server. If it doesn't work, click on the transaction>details>save to somewhere. Next, you can open it(the .txn file) with notepad or any text reader. You should get something like:
Code:
{
    "hex": "0100averylongstringoftext",
    "complete": true
}
.

Copy the text in the brackets after the hex:, go to https://coinb.in/#broadcast and paste everything in and press broadcast.

I suspect that it might be because of the fees that you have paid. What is the details of the transaction (the fees paid, transaction size etc.)?

Tried what you suggested ranochigo.  The server change didn't work. Then coinib came back with this error:  258: txn-mempool-conflict

I'm not sure of the transaction size because I can't find the transaction on the blockchain to tell me.  I went with the default recommended fee from electrum that auto filled in.

Here's what electrum shows for the transaction

Transaction id: ae36695e052cae305a99ea4718df7985320a7c1a45ea29eb8fa99c10fa441c4e

Status: 0 confirmations

Description:

Date: Pending

Amount Sent: 0.03 BTC

Transaction fee: 0.000399 BTC

1DqV7KqENRXMuMh2HRYWTe5aNptkbgk3mT is the wallet I'm sending to.  Not sure how 1FRF1ccWNKFuv83RCcA5G5D2ok4RXdCuy7 comes into play.  I thought maybe there was a lag or wait but it's been almost 12 hours now and I don't see my transaction on the blockchain.

it was rejected as double spend because the inputs are being used on another existing transaction. 1FRF1ccWNKFuv83RCcA5G5D2ok4RXdCuy7 should be the change address.

OK that makes sense.  Here I was thinking I had control of the bitcoins from that other transaction because they appeared back in my electrum wallet.  I guess not  Undecided

Thanks for the help --Encrypted-- and ranochigo  Wink

One more question how do I remove the transaction from my history in electrum or will that happen at some point automatically?
