Would agree BTC or Bitcoin has no real diffrence what way you say it. the value is the main thing True BTC or Bitcoin really don't have difference since the first one is the ticker of the latter one, what being discussed here is the right term to use in case there is more than one (1) Bitcoin. The author want to know which one to use Bitcoin or Bitcoins. Personally i used to say/write 10 bitcoins but this is my last concert, i actually have a problem with writing 10 satoshi or 10 satoshis!
hmm i don't think you have problem writing satoshi with s at the end, coz you just wrote it . See my proof above (just kidding)

No matter it said 10 bitcoin or 10 bitcoins, the truth is the value, "10". But I prefer to 10 bitcoins or I usually say 10 BTC To be more specific to international unit standard, units should hot have plural form. We must always stick with "bitcoin" when denoting as unit. I too use "BTC" as most rather saying bitcoin nor bitcoins.

It doesn't make any difference either you call it bitcoin or bitcoins, the purpose would be the same but if you think grammatically then 10 bitcoins is the right word.
Sounds about right. Grammatically Bitcoins makes more sense, but ultimately it doesn't matter much in my opinion.

It is the same problem as I encountered with usage of words "Bitcoin" and "bitcoin" - what's the difference?
The common answer is that Bitcoin is name of the network while bitcoin is name of the coin itself, token, that represent value.
Is that correct?

"Bitcoins" generally doesn't sit well on my tongue. And the other thing is that every time I see someone say "10 bitcoins" is when I read a person with broken English's post.

And saying that it doesnt sit well in your tounge doesnt mean it's correct. And people may post broken english but it doesnt mean the term they used in their sentence is wrong. There are instances that sentence structure maybe wrong but the singular / plural term of a word might be correct. There is 10 eggs (not use as collective noun) << this is broken english but 10 eggs is correct see my point?

Would agree BTC or Bitcoin has no real diffrence what way you say it. the value is the main thing the OP is asking it because he is trying to correct the grammar of people about the word bitcoin, as more people are doing that mistake, so beside the value we have to think about all the other things about bitcoin also.

Yes I seen that OP wants to correct the grammar, others just don't care or even do research about something. Other just rely on what they knew, it is a good thing to know not only the spelling and ticker of bitcoin, or price and speculations, it is also important to know other things around Bitcoin especially it's technology and advantages it give.

Would use 10 bitcoins because by the rules of English language, that would be proper.
Just think of it like how we do it with fiat. We don't read $10 as 10 dollar, do we? We read it as 10 dollars or £10 as 10 pounds It's the same with bitcoins 10BTC would be 10 bitcoins.

Exactly that is the perfect grammar but when it comes to earning in bitcoin spelling and pronunciation really doesn't matter the only thing matter is to earn maximum number of coins.

Would agree BTC or Bitcoin has no real diffrence what way you say it. the value is the main thing BTC and Bitcoins can be used interchangeably and both means the same. But in general we say bitcoins as a currency for example "bitcoin is a digital currency" and represent the amount with BTC for example "i have 10 BTC".

Seen a lot of different ways of saying 10 btc, I personally say 10 bitcoin. My grammar has recently been question though, by the titanium BTCC coins. They say 10 bitcoins :-/
Depends on the context. He just made a 10 bitcoin transaction. He has 10 bitcoins. I think BTC shouldn't be included in conversations (verbal or otherwise). It may be okay in typed/written text. Think about it. No one really says "USD" in a verbal conversation. Hi, I have ten dollars. Hi, I have ten Yu-Es-Dee.

"I have 10 bitcoin", "We have 10 bitcoin in total", "He has 10 bitcoin" all work.
