I always regret reading the comments.  Half the people there are freaking crazy  Shocked

But that's really interesting--I remember taking this survey a little while ago.  Everything seems to be in order, except the male to female ratio.  Only 4% of BTC users are female?  Crazy!

My favorite comment:

Quote
"This is my take on all this chatter lately about the wonders of Bitcoin. They will do anything to get people NOT to invest in gold and silver. This is just another sign of their desperation.

cute little name but, look who is behind this, and who owns markmonitor, thompson reuters, who controls thompson reuters, Rothschild! Now why would Rothschild be so interested in Bitcoin? Hmm

Of course...the wealthiest family in the world with a significant interest in centralized financial control is behind a decentralized currency that no one controls.

I could possibly see the hand of Rothschild in some of the larger Bitcoin deals that look like they're intended to control the price of Bitcoin, as the Rothschilds had with the price of gold for so many decades:

Was this the survey posted a few weeks back in the newbie section (I think it was there)? I remember taking one with the guy saying he'd have the results soon. Very cool information. Smiley

I was being facetious. It doesn't always come through in text.

Demographic results aren't surprising in the least. I don't think I'm going out on limb supposing that most Bitcoin miners are PC gamers first, and that pretty much intersects the holy grail of marketing demographics -- 15 to 45 year old males, tech savvy, with plenty of disposable income.

It's only a matter of time before established businesses realize that the operators of BitcoinStore aren't dummies.

Perhaps you are underestimating them. Banksters compete with other banksters you know.

They might still buy some... it's a real asset, like gold/silver/real estate/...

I've never left.  Huh
I was not very active posting in the last few weeks, with the new site(see sig.) and all. But now that it's running smoothly I have some more time and it's business as usual.

4% female users are really very little. If Bitcoin system would became more “user friendly” than woman will start to use it more and more.
