When the grand experiment that is Ethereum began, the foundation desired to create a trustless, decentralized database capable of executing smart contracts enjoying security enforced by the austere relentlessness of cryptography in a robust transaction system. The code itself has proven to be resilient enough although not without its flaws.

What has made this experiment fascinating is the instant abandonment of cryptos very core belief system after recent developments.
