I had a new idea (I think), for how to distribute payout from a pool.  Instead of all shares being equal, each share is weighted according to 'how low' it is.

The theory being that this simple change would eliminate all motivation for supposed 'pool cheating' or pay-per-share scamming where 'very low hashes' are withheld.

This would make a 'winning share' worth more than any non-winning share.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)
