Reverse Psychology?

This really helped a lot making a free advertisement for Ethereum. I hope they are paying the OP a good price.

I agree. ETH is honestly going away.  Stick to btc and ltc, unless you like flashy pump and dump scammy rollercoaster rides.

Yeah ltc man. Look at my text space. LTC 4 Evea dude. People dont realize that ltc is a sleeping giant.

Yeah ltc man. Look at my text space. LTC 4 Evea dude. People dont realize that ltc is a sleeping giant.

LTC has pretty much no purpose at this point. At one point it did because it was basically like gold and silver. Not everyone could buy the gold since, at least when I got into it BTC was at around 950, so they bought the silver/LTC. But, after BTC dove in the markets for a while and took a while to spring back, LTC in the meantime became less like silver and more like nickel. LTC is no longer the only alternative and it holds no technological advancements over BTC or a lot of other experimental coins.

It could be said that like btc it will always be stable but after a while I think it will fall by the wayside as others make advancements in the crypto market.

Gonna have to agree with the Russian floating space can here. The coin is definitely "dead"

I don't think it will totally disappear but it will slowly die off like LTC did. I had LTC at almost $20 each and slowly watched it bleed out to where it is now. Luckily my LTC is now in the form of BTC Cheesy

The Ethereum is still under good development. The developers are paid for their work, so it will not die soon.

Ethereum can no longer be called a decentralized network anymore after having four hard forks in less than a year. Even worse, when it switches to Proof-of-stake it shall become completely centralized, and all ethers will be penniless.

i agree, reality is so boring, at the moment 8.494 USD at btc-e is not low enough to stop mining

What we need to look at is,
what can you actually do with ETH at this point?
Its traded on exchanges, its even got integration on platforms like Coinbase, which was a huge deal, being able to convert back and forth to fiat.
There are apps like Augur in the works that are built on the ETH platform.

But what do you actually do with ETH? Can you pay for any goods/ services with it?
Since the answer seems to be no, comes the next question.
Is ETH actually worth almost $10?

fuck all, that's what LOL
What could you do with BTC after 1 years inception? Oh yes, fuck all, that's what LOL

What are you suppose to "DO" with a currency smart ass ?

Take a wild fucking guess Fraud Boy Wink

The gold/silver analogy for BTC and LTC was always pretty stupid. Since Bitcoin can be bought fractionally you can acquire as much or as little as you want no need for a "cheaper" alternative.

Etherium, by contrast, is based on a completely different technology stack and can do smart programmable contracts that BTC and LTC can't. That makes it potentially more useful which has so far resulted in a stunning appreciation in value - it's now far and away the #2 coin in market capitalization. That's not to say we won't see periods of price depreciation, same has happened to BTC, but overall Etherium will have far more staying power than LTC since it solves a real problem that BTC can't.

Quite. Markets go down and up all the time. If you're an experienced investor this shouldn't be news to learn. ETH has great potential.

Except the glaring problem..
ETH "fuel tokens" are not as currency and were never designed to be and suffer from inherent problems.

I advise checking out the long winded explanation why from user Roach here.
He explained it far better than i ever could.

And that is how ETH survives.. in confusing and duping the naive users that do not know any better.

The concept of "App's" is a gimmick by the way is just a superficial point.
It's a thing on the surface.

This all has been explained to you all thousands of times by many older users here.
You push on with your fallacy because you are deceitful bag holders defrauding people of REAL money.

ETH's own supporters have long defended ETH saying it was not a currency.
Fuel Tokens were never intended to replace Bitcoin.
AND THAT IS WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT.

THE REAL POINT !

NOT a gimmick that lays on the surface like a slimy greedy slick of deceitful bullshit.

Comparing the two directly is simply fucking retarded.

Further more..
It is a rigged ICO scam.
Exposed in 2014 long before 90% of you all even registered here to spout off stupid ETH defense bullshit.

Eth is a conundrum. Why its still alive is a mystery. Masterful manipulation and deep pockets would be my best guess. You can't say its because of Eth's merits.

Shitty code, pre-mine, ico, hacks, and hard forks. You gotta love how Etc was hatched. Don't tell me "those in the know" didn't make a shitload on that scheme.

Any other project in this space would have been long dead with the kind of flaws Eth has presented.

Agreed Rocky and to respond to the fraud..

Just because you can trade ETH tokens does not mean it is a currency.
There is more to it than that..

Imagine a currency that evaporated or was designed to keep creating more.. but far too many.

What i am hinting at is ETH by design has issues when trying to say it can be used as a substitute for Bitcoin the CURRENCY.. as you proponents constantly suggest.

They are in fact chiefly "Fuel Tokens" ..not dollars $$$
Bitcoin was designed to be a currency and will not suffer from the same problems ETH will.

It would not matter how many accounts i used to say this.. the facts would still remain the same.
I am talking about how it works and what it does.. a tangible and quantifiable thing.

Socks ? where ? I am the only one who said what i said.
So explain to us all how anyone else is copying what i am posting Fraudcache.
Do you see why you have no credibility around here yet ?
It's one thing to fail miserably at defending Ethereum..
and it's another to simply lash out like a stupid child with silly diversionary games.

You don't HAVE to agree but i advise you stick to the truth.
Trying to make up lies about me to attempt to discredit me will only back fire on you.

And this point i brought up is just the tip of the ice berg when it comes to ETH's problems.
..as the previous poster just alluded to.

You keep chanting all kinds of stupid shit about this coin but the crowd left long ago.
There is no longer a giant massive flood of people here defending this ICO shitcoin "scheme coin"
I ran a pole and it cemented what i already knew.. users were willing to maybe trade the ICO "fuel tokens"
..for profit $$$
But 90% of them all did NOT "believe" in the project's intended purpose.

The crypto community spoke loud & clear on this ICO shit coin bullshit.
Do you expect the world to view it any different ?
I'd say no they will view it in a worse light simply because of the ICO part of it. (and the early shenanigans)

I would safely say it is effectively dead.
The ONLY thing that will revive it's popularity is MORE MANIPULATION.
And that does not seem to be possible anymore..

Lol you don't think that any other currency in the World lose coins and notes? No fiat currency in the World ever has its token destroyed either accidentally or not? The point of a currency is a medium of exchange between parties. It has been thus since the ancient Greeks. Now as the modern Geeks we have our cryptocurrencies, one of which has the functionality of a currency and more is ETH. Doesn't matter how many times you and your tard team of sick sockies want to pretend and fool others otherwise.

You are completely correct it isn't a currency in the traditional sense. But neither is any cryptocurrency. The only difference being that you fail to see what it actually is. It is a modern fuel source for a modern economy. Petrol isn't actual money but plenty of people will kill for it as it still fuels our whole society. If you created an electronic version of petrol, why would you make it finite. That is the exact reason why people kill for oil. The natural system is flawed. Nature is flawed. Why would you create something with the same flaws as before when you can upgrade and enhance? These are all tech companies, and I don't see why a tech company can't start out flawed and as it gets older and more mature its software becomes more mature. If I remember correctly installing any distro of Linux used to be mind numbing, and yet today Microsoft is a part of its foundation, tons of programs are maintained on it, and any person could install it with little effort.

exaclty, 100% correct and what I been tryin to explain to the idiots.  but as usual the scam shills and whale bots powering ETH just keep (kept?) the fake price up non stop all year...now it's dying and ppl will cry.

yet something solid like WBB and great dev and actual secure work with real-world shit coming soon gets overlooked!  Roll Eyes

Ok..
And i agree Business is.. Vulgar and corrupt (as usual)

People seem to forget ALL these centralized exchanges exist to PROFIT.
They may masquerade around Crypto as Crypto Supporters
..but ALL their behaviors say otherwise.

THEY ALL add coins they should not.. for profit.
THEN run around saying they are fine upstanding supporters of crypto.

BULL SHIT !

I actually totally agree with you. The worst I have done so far is try to get some people to buy BTC... I like the idea that these guys have but I am not completely sold on their platform yet. www.cryptocentre.org

Site looks kinda trashy too. They are advertising a closed share sale on a mining and trading platform with 1% of the proceeds going back to whomever runs the show... 1% doesn't seem like a lot until you consider that they have sold almost 200k shares in 2 days... somehow... probably just another scam actually
