You need to determine you amount of wining goal first before you can determine that your bets is high. In sports betting, it is advisable to only bet at least 1% of your total bankroll per bet so the moment you will experience some cold steak you will not be affected much and you can still recover.

Betting 50% is too much IMO as we can easily wipe out our bankroll if that is the case, we are lucky if we win but if not then we stop early.

Taking the bets into higger bets, means as well higger risk, sure the result might be amazing if able to win,  but if you do play with small odds you might achieve the same result, taking a lower risk.

Making small bets and going with low risk bets with less odds is fine even if it takes time, because losing once all of a sudden could make you go bankrupt and it is not necessary to put higher bets to become rich, small wins can also result in a better bankroll.

The problem is not the size of the bets as long as the house edge remains unchanged then it does not matter at the end you are going to lose, now if you could somehow get an edge over the house then the only thing bigger bets will do is increase your possible profits in this unlikely scenario.

It doesnt actually make you rich its a very long process ,but you have a higher chance of winnings because there's only two teams to bet in every .Treating gambling seriously will not make you rich it is applicable in a serious businesses .
